Gaming The SM RedCafe League

We've only just completed Season 1 of League 2, we'd thought it'd be fun to start over now that we know what we're doing. It was very competitive in the transfer market.

Yeah there's plenty of good players available/available soon to strengthen your side so don't worry too much about how your team is compared to others. For a large spell of the season my team was weaker compared to the other top six sides and Newcastle, then managed to sign Marcelo and Lahm which strengthened my team a bit towards the end.

I think comedian of the day in the old league has to go to Ipswich Town for their very public bid for Januzaj.

Aye, with the most points from all sides (16/18). Makes it all the more annoying that my team flopped in the league.

Europe and unmanaged clubs is mental. I have Real in Zarlaks newb league, lost all European games against 88 average teams. (Only 3 games though due to small league structure).

Game engine is hard to work out.

What was it?
Despite having a shocking season, you're only 3 points behind Newcastle and 4 behind 4th. Could be worse. :p

Indeed. I'll fall away though as I've got the tougher fixtures from those around me.

Yeah, Europe can be weird. One season I struggled despite having a superior side to all of those I faced, but the last few seasons I've done well.

Lost to Bolton in the semis last season.

Jedvaj joins Josip Drmic, Wendell Borges and fellow Croat Dario Kresic as new signings at the BayArena and Voller is eager to see the youngster in action.
He told the official club website: "Tin Jedvaj is a very talented youngster who we've been looking at for some time.

"We hope he can reach the next level of his development whilst he's at the club.

"He will be a useful addition to our defensive ranks. We have gained yet another talented young player."

Sounds good.

A.S. Roma S.p.A. has reached an agreement with Bayer 04 Leverkusen for the temporary transfer of Tin Jedvaj for the next two seasons. The German club holds the right to exercise a purchase option on the player at the end of the 2015/16 season, while A.S. Roma has a counter-option.

I hate Roma. Hope they flop.

They seem to love him. Fingers crossed...

Sounds like it. Delighted. He's young but still seems a bit daft how much he was underused at Roma. I'm not a fan of Italy and their 12 man benches. What's the point in that many, really?

Nice.

Vadim Vasilyev, vice-president of AS Monaco: "Paul Nardi is one of the most promising young goalkeepers in France. He is part of the club’s strategy to build a long term vision for the club. We are delighted that he has chosen the club’s project over competition from other big European clubs. To enable Paul to continue his progression, he will be loaned to AS Nancy-Lorraine next season."

Paul Nardi, AS Monaco goalkeeper: "I am very happy to be joining such a big club with such an ambitious project for the future. It is a great moment for me. I am honoured and overwhelmed to be a part of AS Monaco today."

Quite happy with that. Should still get plenty of games next season unless Nancy do a Saint-Etienne (doubt it), and Monaco's other goalkeepers don't seem that great, though they have been linked with Valdes and Caballero too and most likely will sign one of them (hopefully the latter).
