Gaming The SM RedCafe League

I'm not! I was ahead even after being 1 man down. Had 15 shots, 10 on target. Boro scored all their goals in the second half. He only had 6 shots on target even being 1 man up for over an hour...

I also picked up ANOTHER injury. Thats 3 now i've had. :o:o:o

How is Emboaba Oscar settling in Red?

Why are the player updates taking so long? They haven't done any in a few days now yet it says they're working on 2 leagues.

I made a mistake updating the first post and confused Colchester with Chesterfield.

So I need to know who here is managing Chesterfield?

Btw, Colchester, Preston and Bournemouth are available in division 3

How do you go about making transfers on this thing?

Either go to Game World > Transfer Market and mess around with the settings or enter a name to search for in the search box in the top left, click on the name and in the box that comes up click on "Make Transfer Bid" button. You can then either offer cash only, cash + players or just exchange players. Fairly simple. And if you want to put your own players on the transfer market or loan list, click on their names in the squad overview and click the "Squad Status" button to say whether they should be transfer listed or not.

Ivor Ballokov unless they changed managers since the 29th March. I made a post with the wages in Division 3 along with who managed which side on that date and it says Ivor Ballokov was manager then.

Cheers, that's correct, I now remember erasing his name when I updated the first post.

Looking at the Division 2 stats it's amazing that the club fourth on that list (Leicester City) is bottom of the league while the club 18th on that list (Coventry City) is fourth in the league. kps has done a brilliant job at Coventry.

Good work with the pics Damo, in some ways I reckon it's more fun playing in the lower divisions, the players are a bit more unusual and the teams more interesting.

I really need some more squad players...

How on earth does West Ham with 40 players manage to keep an 87 rating

For whatever reason, the game did something really stupid when it decided to only have 20 of the Championship teams in Div2, and dropped four to Div 3: It took the last four teams alphabetically! So that's Reading, Southampton, and West Ham, the top 3 teams in the real Championship, (and Watford) against League One sides. West Ham in particular, given it only came down from the PL this season, had a large PL-caliber squad.

Well that's just a little bit stupid isn't it. I should've taken over West Ham when I had the chance

After the changes and Phil taking over Preston, we still have 29 places available.

Bournemouth and Colchester in division 3 and Port Vale in division 4 but with 8M to spend are the best options at the moment for anyone wanting in.

My bad, I had the chance to change the teams but forgot leagues in England have 24 teams, so just assumed all were in their real division.:nervous:

That explains it. I was wondering why West Ham and Southampton, wasn't in Division 2, when I was picking a team.

Cheers for the inbox Trionz.

Going with a mix of the youth an 1st team tonight due to injuries and fitness issues.

Still got the following players for loan:

Sebastien Haller - CF - 75
Salva Ruiz - LB - 75
Souleymane Coulibaly - CF - 75
Thorgan Hazard - AM/Wing - 76
Benjamin Mendy - LB - 77
Dino Spehar - Fwd/AM - 77
Saul Niguez - Wing/AM - 77
Alvaro Vadillo - RM/Wing - 78

Sunderland aren't wasting any time getting players in, gone for one of my targets the cnut.

My next five competitive fixtures:

Code:
Tue 10 Apr League Shield Burton Albion (H)
Thu 12 Apr Divisão 2 Brighton and Hove Albion (H)
Sun 15 Apr Divisão 2 Derby County (A)
Tue 17 Apr League Cup Plymouth Argyle (A)
Thu 19 Apr Divisão 2 Leeds United (H)

Currently have 2 injuries and 1 suspension. Having to rest my entire first 11 ready for the Brighton game, although I might have to do some rotation with the Derby/Leeds games in mind.

I have built a very flexible squad though, but i'm concerned of my recent form, seem to pick up an injury every game atm along with a suspension. Frustrating.

I had no idea I was that low! Is it just down to starting budgets? My squads frightfully small though, a couple of injuries and I'll be in trouble.

On that note, I could use players on loan rated above 82 in ANY position. Help.

It'll be a mixture of starting budget as well as how much the team was worth when you took over and the value of the replacements. As you say your squad is very small and in the 21 there are 7 or 8 players still in their 70s. The good thing for you (I assume) is that you're fine financially and are bringing in a decent sized profit each home game but like you say the problem will be if you do pick up an injury or two to a first team player.

That is a decent set of fixtures but the big problem for you is the Shield and Cup game which will be a pain for your squad in terms of fitness. The injuries and suspensions along with your recent form like you say could make things tougher but I think you should be ok.

I've got a friendly spot open for saturday. Feel free to challenge me.

Do players not recover their condition after a day passes? Or is it only once their rested for a game?

Blackpool is a better WUM than cider is. Writes an article "Managers changing clubs a disgrace", then sends a message asking if I've got a defender I can loan, and challenges me to a friendly.

The offer for Marc-André TER STEGEN of Borussia Mönchengladbach from Tottenham Hotspur has been accepted. The transfer will be completed within the next 24 hours.

He will be available for loan, chairman permitting.
