Gaming The SM RedCafe League

Phew. Managed a 1-1 draw away to Burnley.

On a good run ATM.

Just remembered that there was a league game today! Beat portsmouth 2-1, back to winning ways :)
Not going to feck about with the formation this time... but I conceded another late goal. Its probably tiredness.

Massive win over Forest! nice 3-1 win aided by them having a man sent off...3 assists for Elia, the man is a machine!

Brilliant result for you.

My next five competitive fixtures:

Code:
Thu 12 Apr Divisão 2	Barnsley (A)
Sun 15 Apr Divisão 2	Portsmouth (H)
Tue 17 Apr League Cup	Manchester City (A)
Thu 19 Apr Divisão 2	Nottingham Forest (A)
Sun 22 Apr Divisão 2	Ipswich Town (H)

Going to be very tough indeed. For the City game I've just about come up with a lineup that will contain no first team players apart from in goal and a couple of fringe players so they'll be fresh for Forest.

Well done Damo for signing Luis Muriel. He will be a top player.

Thanks :) I've heard how highly rated he is. Quite a few clubs looking to sign him in the summer and has done very well on loan at Lecce including scoring twice against Roma at the weekend.

Drew 1-1 at home to Leicester. Not a bad result, would have preferred a win but my home record is shite so far - won 1 drew 3. On a good note, my backup CB/CDM made his debut and scored a goal + got MOTM.

Ryan Nelson is available for loan - 87 rated.

Sol doesn't seem to want him back so he can go out on loan elsewhere. Don't want him warming the bench all the time though.

Bid for him, Levo. :D

He won't be starting every week but he'll definitely be rotated & come on as sub a fair bit.

How long does it take for players to recover? Not sure my tiny squad can handle three games in a week, might have to put a bunch of nobodies out for the cup.

Please does anyone have a >=85 rated CB available for season loan. My CB is out injured and this player would definitely start games. Would prefer if the CB can play LB as well as I have a backup LB on loan and need to send him back to free up one loan place.

Quoted for the new page, kind folks.

From experience it is best to put out the bunch of nobodies in the cup, otherwise if you put some first teamers out they won't recover in time for your next league match and might even pick up an injury or two.

Finally made your mind up on Mascia Damien

 Yeah, I was stuck between either going for him or three different players and in the end I went for the three different players option (and missed out on two of them...). After the last match I had enough to bring in six including Mascia :D No idea how they'll do though. I could have saved myself 20k by bidding the lowest fee for Mascia but wasn't sure if you or the other team interested would jump in and bid or not.

I was tempted, made a bid on a few including him but then rescinded them all. Can't afford to keep stockpiling, trying to save up for a few players that can slot in the team right away.

That was the debate for me too, but I've figured that as I've got a couple of other players I'm going to make a decent profit on I could afford to bring in a few players for the long term then sell the short term players along with the likes of Pinto and Inzaghi and strengthen the first team squad.

I just need a little more depth in places, wanted to bring back most of my players that are on loan but can't until the end of the season. Will have to work out who to keep and who to sell/part ex.

Red will not be happy!

I'm not! I was ahead even after being 1 man down. Had 15 shots, 10 on target. Boro scored all their goals in the second half. He only had 6 shots on target even being 1 man up for over an hour...

I also picked up ANOTHER injury. Thats 3 now i've had. :o:o:o

Currently got £6,500,000

Ah, Division 1. Less surprising now.

I don't have that much, just left myself enough to buy a few players for the youth team. Once the players I've had bids accepted for come in I won't be making any more transfers until late May.

You though, you hacked this shit or something?

I didn't have any money left after I switched my first team around. Lumu at 50K was all I could afford. That too after I brought in some revenue after a home game. Which in the longer run also means that I'm deeper in debt than I would have been. Need a decent cup run to cover my tracks otherwise I'm fecked.

 After each home and away game I make a slight profit. I've had a home cup game not that long ago and earlier on in the season I had two home league fixtures after each other so that gave me even more income. I went from around 400k to 1M not that long ago and after the transfers I'll have around 200k.

The away game against City in the cup should hopefully be another financial boost along with whatever Shield games I have, but haven't looked that far into the future yet.

2-1 and all but secured my qualification past the group stages unless Juventus manage to pull a +7 GD out of the bag in their next 2 games. Another suspension though. 60% possession again, 10 shots 9 on target.

Barca have qualified already.
