Even in the forums, it is a gamble. No one knows who will increase or atleast by how much. they can give their opinion as they may support that club. But it comes down to real life, so player who play well and get minutes on the pitch a good for the future. transfer blogs/websites are better than the forum imo.

Is the game smart enough to keep a track of how frequently one changes the formation and tactics? As in, is it beneficial to stick to a known system?
And Burrows, no way am i finishing in the bottom 3. That said, most of my expensive signings were aimed at young players who'l get better rated with time, sanchez vidal thiago rather than top current players like quite a few have gone for. Hasnt really worked well so far but sure to get better when the ratings are updated.

Recently i tried changing tactics for my Villa team for each match, depending on my opponents; and i didn't lose any match in first half of season.
But in second half, constant rotation saw me dropping points quite often, and by the time i regained form, i lost the title to Arsenal by a point.
However, with my Santos team, my formation & kind of personnels who would play has basically stayed constant with slight tweaking of players here & there, and that has brought me 2 consecutive league titles & am leading in this season.
I personally prefer to have a preferred formation and buy first choice 7 second choice players as per the formation.
