Gaming The SM RedCafe League

Damn Eikrem!!! I need to start making my chances count, I switched from attack to defense the back to attack again minutes before kick off

But I'll happily take 5 points from 3 games, I thought I might trip up against both you and West Ham.

At least your tactics seems to be working. And 5 points after these games is pretty good I'd say, considering the opponents. Happy I didn't concede more than 1 today, my defence has been solid all the way.

Finally a win!

Brentford 0 - 4 Southampton

De Guzman 6
Djalo 38
Kehl 39
Cerci 50

Bloody hell what is going on here?

Llorente sent off for being the last man after 30 minutes allowing Sunderland to hold me to a 1-1 draw.

Bollocks. He is now banned for 3 matches too.

Won 1-0 against Robo's team. Take that!

I'm going £190k in the red during my away-games, but make a healthy £350k profit in every home game. Which means that this is how my yearly balance will look (more or less and not counting any transfers in or out):

Yearly loss (i.e away-games): -£3,610,000
Yearly gain (i.e home-games): £6,650,000
Total: £3,040,000

Not much, but atleast I wont go bankrupt as about half of the other clubs in this league.

I thought it would be a struggle to score, that was the first you've conceeded in the league. So I'm pretty happy.

I'll hopefully still have a £1m in the bank come the end of the season, but I think I'll lose overall in the year.

Drew 1-1 with Arsenal, missing Messi. Happy with that.

Tried a new tactic aiming for possession which didn't really work out. Managed to restrict them to 2 on target shots though.

You shouldnt. You were playing at home, you should've won by atleast 3.

To show that my calculator is at least partially working, I predicted I would be on -254k after this match, and I am actually on -246k

I also changed my tactics with the goal of controlling the ball and it worked perfectly, 58% at OT.

I set the tactics to defensive style and counter-attack, so very few chances created, but 1 point from OT it's a good result.

I have to beat Villa in the next match though, only 2 points in 3 matches:(

Judging by the comments, would you really believe that Buffon only got rated a 6? Must've been horrible besides from those saves..

MOTM: Pepe (9 rated)

To show that my calculator is at least partially working, I predicted I would be on -254k after this match, and I am actually on -246k

It predicted I would be on 689k and I'm on 663k. Due to home attendance going down for me this league game, most other variables went down which affected my finances by 26k. Still a good position to be in financially though.

feck sake, lost 2-1 at home to Birmingham. Why is it that I always win my friendliest against premiership teams yet I do shite in the league. On to Thursday then, changing tactics yet again

2 new managers in, Oxford and Wimbledon are taken.

Doncaster will be available tomorrow if the manager doesn't login. Brentford manager didn't login either in the last 6 days, so maybe 4 more days and he'll be out.

We were talking about allowing people to change clubs. Is there anyone interested in taking over Doncaster?

If more than 1 person is interested I can make a draw.

 happy with that? Pathetic!

Well, so much for the title challenge!

You're fecking shit, man, unbelievable!

3-1 win away to coventry, top of the league, the champagne is flowing.

James Forrest, a lowly 85, has been my best performer.

I'm so going to finish last . I've played 3 easy games, 2 points, and Arsenal and Spurs are below me :nervous:

Prediction for top 4 and bottom 4 anyone?

Top 4:

Man City
Man Utd
Stoke
Liverpool

Bottom 4:

Blackburn
Aston Villa
Sunderland
Wigan
