Gaming The SM RedCafe League

No, I'm laughing at the fact you believe they actually scouted for themselves.

And I'm unbeaten. Never lost a game in my managerial career. My chairman couldn't be happier.

Well of course he did. I didn't get much scouting done myself as I was busy drafting tactics.

Glad the French league is next... I should get some nice upgrades for Gomis and Gouffran, before I get raped by Serie A

There was no strategy in my transfer, I just went for players who looked good with a decent rating. Hopefully they turn out to be masterstrokes.

Julian DRAXLER +2
Leonardo BITTENCOURT +2

Nobody down :)

Was afraid Lahm would go down 1 point, but he remained with 94.

Damn I honestly thought Harnik was going to get a boost :(, even just by the 1. But it seems Stuttgart have already been updated. He's scored 8 of his 14 goals this season since his last update.

You guys been visiting forums to know about players?

Am fecked then. I've just brought names i knew within my price range..

None of my signings were scouted... So it's just pot luck for me. I have 5 players from Ligue 1 in my side, all of them play regularly for their teams so I should be okay. Gomis has 21 goals in 41 games and Gouffran's got a fair few goals too... so if both of those don't get increased i'll be a bit fecked off. The other 3 might get boosts too with any luck.

Conversely, in Spain and Italy, my two big signings, Pedro Loen and Eljero Elia have done sweet feck all for their respective teams, so I'll be lucky if they just stagnate.

Same here. I will need to have faith on my fate and brilliant tactical nous :D

No I didn´t scout. I just browed through the youngster list, recognized a few names and bid for them. I didn't even check if they're playing in their clubs.

Browsing in not required when names like Fabregas, Kaka and Alonso are brought in ;)

As I said, I haven't scouted either... but as soon as these lot mentioned that peoples ratings will be going up or down, thought it best to check what the people I've signed are actually doing for their teams this season.

I have 6 of them and only 1 German (who had his rating reduced by 1).

Half my signings were random, half of them were scouted. :nervous:

Same with me  Have done quite well with my German players though. Have 5 of them, 3 went up, 1 has stayed the same and the last one will be reviewed soon but I expect he'll stay the same also.

I've got 6 Italian players.

Things don't look good for Neto who hasn't played once in the league this season and has just a couple of cup appearances from what I see.

Nagatomo I've heard good things about and has a decent chance of going up.

Fernandez has just played 6 games this season for Napoli. Don't think he's in line for a great update but is still young.

Candreva's on loan to Lazio which isn't a great sign of how well he'll do, and has played just 5 games with no goals or assists since January when he moved there on loan. In the first half of the year he was on loan to Cesena and played 16 matches with 3 goals and 3 assists. He seems to have been on loan ever since he joined Udinese and he's 25 now so... yeah.

Inzaghi is inevitably going down.

Muriel's been on loan to Lecce and has played 17 games and scored 5 with 4 assists which isn't bad given he's just 20. I think he's got a decent future ahead.

So other than Nagatomo and maybe Muriel, I'm screwed.

Yeah, hoping to get lucky with the updates. That said, the tactical aspect not really working well. 1 point so far.

I didnt even bother buying young players, unlikely to play this with much interest after a couple of months.

And I was about to get Sérgio Ramos but apparentely I can only buy 3 players from the same team :(

Anyway, I'm still waiting for my first win, so...:nervous:

The inner muppet couldn't resist seeing money there and not spend it.

I've played other manager games for years so I'm in for the long run.

Fair enough. Wasnt aimed at anyone in particular, my post.

Yeah, thats true. Feel like spending to the last thousand that one has. Weird how the inner muppet's been released, never really did something like this in FM for example. always played the original team as far as possible when i played with United.

Tell me how much did you pay the ref to allow an offside RVP to score against me? :(

Well in this case, darwin's theory, survival of the fittest is applicable. Since, everyone around you was strengthening so much you're hand was kinda forced as well.

*sigh* Even with selling just about every player I can, AND even with two home cup ties, I'm still fecked, financially. If more fans don't show up then did for the Oldham match, my math puts me at finishing the season £1.4M in the red. I need to sell more tickets, or need a cup run.

True that. there was no way i could have played with the original Villa team.

Bit peeved Goetze didn't get a rise, don't think I've got any french players so won't be affected.

Had offers accepted for Benjamin Mendy, Mateus Kelvin & Alvaro Vadillo.

By the way Damien, when I was saying that the Caf has missed out on something obvious in the German League I actually meant a specific team.

Monchengladbach who narrowly avoided relegation last year is now 3rd in the German League with the 3rd best defense. Not surprised that 7 of their players got a rating increase, just annoyed that I hadn't got anyone left to trade. I really wanted their goalkeeper, but i'd had my 88 rating goalkeeper sign the day before I went through the German League! He's now a 19 year old keeper rated at 87 :(

Only Reading and yourselves managed to get any of their players and both players have increased by 2.

That took a while!

Nice work, but kadlec for Brighton went up to 89, he used to be 88.

Ah. Wow that is a great achievement. The Bundesliga has been very competitive though and one season a team may be near the bottom of the table but the next they're near the top. Great spot.

Have they finished the German league now?

Nearly. They haven't done the ratings for Bayern Munich and another couple of teams.

Good, I hope Badstuber gets an update.
