The Referee Enabled Shithousery of Spanish Teams

They got lucky. We will annihilate them in Spain. Casemiro will have more time in his legs as will Eriksen. Remember they are still a shit team and once we impose ourselves on them, they will fall down.

We need to press the shit out of them to tire them out,, then expose them at the back...

In the meantime, Sancho and Weghorst need to learn how to shoot. Tossers.

We haven't seen us annihilate anybody yet... But I guess thats the spirit. We will struggle I guess in the coming games. While having Casemiro and Eriksen back will certainly help, losing Rashford and Martinez will create holes of the same sizes although at different places. Biggest issue is, that I have no idea whatsoever who of our attackers might have it in him to step up.

Some of the decisions against us in the Europa this season have just been inexcusable. The Pellistri yellow, the Bruno yellow and even when one of the Sevilla players jumped smashed into Sabitzer and they gave a foul against Sabitzer

And the Martinez yellows that lead to his suspension. Was saying yesterday how bizarre they've been this season

I did see the Fernandes one coming though. The referee had booked maybe 3 or 4 Sevilla players in a row and we know how the referees think, he was looking to book a United player after that.

I swear that the player falling on sabitzer actually used him as protection because his jump was awkward and he could have hit when landing. The worst one (after lamela) was Montiel though. He should have been booked just for his play acting.

I can see them scoring early next week and rolling around and time wasting for the rest of the game
This is exactly how it’ll go. The pattern is too predictable. I’m expecting the ball to be in play for around 30% of the game. The shithousery will go up a notch.

There should be a rule where the opposition are allowed to punch one player from their team at the end of the game, whoever is the most deserving, unpunished.

Idk. Your record is pretty bad against Spanish teams.

Not a yellow card for spearing an opponent into the seats. In WWE you get special Jim Ross commentary for that.

A sensible ref would show red to marcao and acuna from the first minute. I despise the "tough" guys who just kick but if you touch them the fell faster than a leaf in DragonBall 's gravity room.

Spanish player lies down on grass, every referee:

We have players literally stopping every foul from being taken and the ref is nowhere to be seen.

Our players also weirdly never complain about those.

It's scandalous that it wasn't a booking for barging Sabitzer off the pitch into those seats. So dangerous doing that, yet the linesman and ref just continued on as if it was nothing. Daft cnuts, the lot of them

Definitely a yellow card at least and a red card wouldn't have been harsh.

Few times Sevilla players have gone down in typical fashion, but our defending is so shit they've actually just carried on playing, even to their own surprise...

Difference between both legs shows that it's all on refs. Guy last week made terrible mistakes but fell for nothing. This guy is comical

It's the constant pulling and barging. They're so good at it to be fair. The ref today could easily have shown them 3 or 4 yellows in the first half and the game might have been diffferent. But it's on us to deal with it so much better.

I had hoped that inder this new manager we'd be more prepared to deal with shithousery. Most teams seem to manage much better than us.

Sure European refs are poor when it comes to punishing the dark arts but you cannot blame the ref for losing 5-2. It was more implosion than explosion.

It was a mix of us being shit in defence, shit in attack, losing every loose ball in midfield and shit refereeing.

It's one of those frustrating games where one team tries a tactic of pulling shirts and jump in front of the ball, if the ref allow it you can win every duel either by falling down after jumping in front of another player when he touches you and if the player do the same to you you just go to ground for the free kick. Shaw is really good at doing this but he never does it aggressively, just in a measure to not lose the ball in his own half. It's a good tactic because when the other team doesn't do the same thing, you get the competitive edge. Obviously the culmination of what these tactics leads to if everyone on the pitch does it looks ridiculous with every player throwing himself to the ground every duel like in those el classicos. But sadly, you have to fight fire with fire or you'll lose.

Also, Casemiro got a yellow card for pretending to tackle a player, and made the player fall down. How?

Spain honestly have had the biggest bunch of absolutely frustrating knobheads when it comes to sportsmanship in the past few decades. It's annoying too, because they're genuinely very good players who don't need to do that shit.

Ramos
Pique
Carvajal
Curcurella
Busquets (the worst)
Xavi
Pedro
Alba
Nacho
Albiol
Isco
Asensio
Villa
Fabregas
Gavi

The only two top players from all those years who I didn't think "why do you do this?" was Iniesta and Alonso.

This is coached, it has to be. And it needs to be punished and weeded out.

No mention of Pep trained Rodri?

The tactical fouling to be honest I can understand and although it's in the grey area I can tolerate it.

The "writhe on the floor at every 1Newton of physical contact like there's a seal team 6 sniper in the crowd" is what really irks me.

There's just no fecking need.

Let us not pretend that the Germans weren't playing dirty too. They set the tone in the opening 10 minutes and Taylor let them get away with it.

I am certain I've missed out some more obvious candidates like Rodri - there's so many of them because referees seem to enable shithousery by Spanish teams. While Kroos should have sent off today at some point, the rest of the game was just Spain exaggerating contact, wasting time, surrounding the ref, committing tactical fouls.

I liked how they were playing so far, but today was just disguisting. Difficult for any neutral to actually root for them when they bring their anti-football to the game.
