Last few movies I've seen on DVD;
Pineapple Express - was quite decent but was expecting far better from reading reviews and other people's thoughts on it. James Franco was funny in it, the fat dealer with the 'tache was shite, not funny at all.
Harold & Kumar (Guantanamo) - a choice between that and summat else resulted in me grabbing this DVD as my missus was hurrying me; turned out to be a very funny film, daft stupid humour but very good to sit and watch together and got better as it went on despite a shit start. The bit with the inbred cracked me.
Rise of a Foot Soldier - true story of Carlton Leach and the Rittenden Murders; Leach, an ex-West Ham terrace leader turned gangster, typical Cockney wanker who inevitably batters a load of United fans in Manchester blah blah blah but the film then very quickly centres off him and reverts to the Rittenden Murders in 1995 when his three mates/colleagues were murdered and he's a minor player in his own biopic almost for the last half of the film. Would give this one a 7/10.
Bachelor Party 2 - bag of shite, would rather watch the original ten times in a row than this wank, why do a sequel twenty fours year later? No Tom Hanks or even any of the same characters or anything obviously.
