Film The Redcafe Movie review thread

Bandidas. Watched the first twenty minutes or so of it. Looks to be not good at all but it does have Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz in it. I'm hoping they end up lesbian lovers, that'd be a good ending.

It's a wonderful life.

Lovely movie.

Though I thought the part when with the angel should have been longer.

Sunshine - Masterpieceofcrap

Danny Boyle - a promising directorgonecrap

Trainspotting - great book, good movie

What made you think it would be average? I haven't seen a single average movie by Hitchcock yet. They've all been brilliant, excellent or very good.

I thought it'd be average after watching The Birds. As for Rebecca it was brilliant. Don't; listen to Crappy, he thinks Forrest Gump, Crash and Requiem for a Dream are great films.

Just seen shoot em up.

What the bloody hell was that all about? Clive Owen spends the best part of 2hours shooting about 500 guys. Some good shooting scenes but I was left unsatisfied, as there was no real substance to the movie. Why did he keep eating carrots as well?

Not all films have to be deep and meaningful. That's not the point.

Anyway, can some recommend me a few French New Wave films and Italian neo-realism?(or whatever it's called).

I'm thinking of downloading:

Belle et la bête, La
Bicycle Thieves
Samouraï, Le
Jules et Jim

Recommend me some more, poncy film buffs.
