Fecks sake, started Dragon Age: Inquisition last night, and it's massively disappointing. I think every game may be disappointing now I've played the Witcher 3.

The combat in dragon age seems slow and clunky, the story seems boring, the characters seem robotic, the land doesn't seem alive. It just seems... boring. :(

That's what I'm worried about with Fallout 4.

Saw this posted about Hitman:

Was hoping for more than 6 levels in total, although if each one is dramatically larger than previous games, it might be ok.

I actually like the pricing structure - if you want the full game, then there is a one-time charge that is in line with other games. If you are not sure then you can buy the first section independent of the second.

Will definitely pick this up.

Six levels sounds a bit crap, but I dig that pricing structure. As someone who's never played Hitman before, I wouldn't mind trying the smaller priced pack to begin with.

Trails in the Sky SC lands on October 29th on PC and PlayStation handhelds  My hype is ridiculous.

I've been complaining about Telltale recently but have to say that Tales from the Borderlands is brilliant. I used to play a bit of Borderlands 2, but neither the gameplay or the wackiness was really my thing.

It's a lot better than their Game of Thrones game in terms of writing and graphics IMO. They made the Borderlands world come alive and it really is a point and click "adventure game" in the old sense of the world where you go on an adventure and the story takes you to cool new places.

I've been trying to get my girlfriend into gaming for almost two years and she hasn't really liked anything I've thrown her way except for err Peggle. She absolutely loved TFTB and had her mind blown by what an interesting and captivating experience games can offer.

Hopefully they'll make another season.

Never heard of them. I'm such a casual :(

TitS SC is awesome.

I've played the first one a year or so ago, the gameplay is fun but I wasn't expecting it to be as difficult as it was. The cartoony style tricked me. I gave it up because of the save/checkpoint system. You had to spend 100 coins every time you wanted to save and coins were quite hard to come by.

Years of instant checkpoints in games have made me soft.

Yeah I've heard that the save system is a bit awkward. The gameplay difficulty doesn't bother me though, I'd find it a bit weird if it wasn't hard being based on GnG.

Speaking of which, I picked Volgar the Viking up on Steam  Damn that game to hell.

Apologies if this video has been posted already but I've only just seen it. I saw the original game play video - the second section in this video - around a year or more ago and was instantly sold, but haven't really kept up to date with it too much since. The seamless co-op / PvP mix is really interesting and that, merged with the 'roles' aspect of MMO/RPGs and good loot distribution and base system, could make this a really great game, imo.

@Damien @afrocentricity @freshibal @Anustart89 - Are you guys planning on getting this? It could very well be 'the new Destiny' for me.

Looks really good - will be up for this with the usual suspects...

I'm so bored in terms of games right now. I'm skint so can't afford any of the big hitters and i'm trying to make my through the massive Steam Library i have but everything i play just bores me. Feel like i need to take a break from games which is a shame. Downloading Fallout 3 since i can't get 4 until Christmas so hopefully that will ignite my passion again.

I hate the new pricing structure for games these days. Saw an advert for pre-ordering the new call of duty...
£80!! For the "full game". I remember when "full games" used to cost £45, end of. Such a rip off.

If you've got a xbox one/PS4 I would suggest getting Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime(yeah it's really called that) and get a mate around it's a great co op game. Only £12 as well.

Edit- actual its on steam as well although I don't know how co op would work(playing with the CPU is a bit rubbish)

Fallout 3 is one of the few games that runs terribly (sometimes not at all) on modern operating systems. It's bizarrely okay on some systems, though... Just cross your fingers.

If you like JRPGs, I suggest giving the first "Trails in the Sky" game a go (currently £6.49) :D Best JRPG franchise out there right now, and the best JRPG I've played since the PS1 era.

I'm finding Trails very hard to get into, not entirely certain why, need to pick it up again, well, probably start again, I wasn't far in.

Definitely should have got it for Vita rather than Steam, but there was like a €30 difference in the price, so feck that.

Cheers for the suggestions. Will give them a look.

Aye, Fallout 3 needs a fix to make it work but after that it works grand.

Not bad, not bad. Alan Wake is seriously not my type of game, but I really did enjoy my time with it... Very unique and interesting, and the lighting? Oof!
I enjoyed it a lot. I've still got that extra DLC to download that came free with it, which should be nice to try some time.

Ah man, there's some issue with my computer that's making the cpu downclock to 0,8 ghz. I can almost forget about gaming for the time being. Almost. Perfect excuse to finally get into Planescape: Torment which I'm enjoying at a cinematic 15 fps. I've been meaning to play it for years, and after a couple of hours I can tell it's gonna be quite a ride.
