I was shocked I was given the chance to sign Messi. Zidane was a genius, and one of the greats. But Messi is on another level.
 
Yeah, I was shocked too. Zidane was out of this world, but Messi had to be taken first.
 
I was kinda hoping to sneak Zidane in 3rd. Jake, would you have gone for Zidane second or one of the Ronaldo's?

I really disagree with your thoughts on Redondo, during the all time draft he was picked fairly early, I'd say he is considered atleast top 10 or maybe even 5 DMs of all time, and it being such a important position I had no doubts Redondo and Keane would be going in the first round ( probably because I would've gladly picked either! )

Think they give me plenty of options. Figo can play left or right, and Vieira is a one man midfield. I had a pet dream of him and Keano being unpicked.. But it was only a dream!

Good picks. Figo's versatility in operating on either wing or through the middle is a bonus, particularly to target anyone with a weaker full-back.

Fair enough mate. Like I say I think the picking has been excellent so far, I just thought he was a little bit of a stretch where he went, undoubted excellent player that he was.

Same. Romario and Cannavaro don't have Cl medals either and both of them are Ballon D'Or winners.
 
Yeah Tito is looking great. Desailly was one of the main players I was after - gutted to miss out him, absolute monster
 
The no winners thing will really come into play later on, so you two are in a great position - I have barely given it any thought as of yet!
