Atleast you don't have to wait for 30 picks to be made before you pick again! Impossible drawing up a short list in that situation.

It's an absolute dose, isn't it? I'm not strictly in the middle, but waiting around to choose and seeing players you've been considering being snapped up is demoralising. On the flip side, those at the ends of the draft have to wait for almost 30 picks before they go again so they have to contend with that too.

What do people think of Eto'o as right forward/winger (as with Inter)? What formation would it be?
 
Eto is a CF, pure and simple. At right wing he can do a 'job' but that's about it.

Was surprised he's still available. JakeC (Messi-Eto'o), kps88 (CRonaldo-Eto'o), nahe (Xavi-Raul-Eto'o), Gio (Rivaldo-Nedved-Eto'o), Stobz (Henry-Eto'o), or Snow (Ronaldinho-Nedved-Eto'o) would be mind blowing.

EDIT: although Raul-Ruud is more proven, and JakeC has Cantona-Messi already. Jake probably wants Messi to lead the attack.
 
I'll be honest, I had an asterisk beside Eto'o's name when I compiled a shortlist of centre-forwards yesterday. Indeed, he would have looked good beside Raúl and Xavi, but my bias for Ruud won the day. Raúl and Ruud forged a great partnership at Madrid too so at least we know they can play together in real life, not just in the cartoons we're playing in our heads here! :lol:

Great pick with Eto'o, Iso.
 
I didn't say Xavi-Raul-Eto'o is better, though. I love our Ruud as much as the next guy; and you're right that Raul-Ruud are more proven pair.

I think both opposite ends are the best position. You can pick two players at once, so much easier on planning.

Yeah. Although if Messi, Ronaldo or Romario became available for Isotope, then he'd have good reason to stick out him as a wide striker and we've seen that work well for Barcelona. Obviously he played there often for Inter but that is in a slightly more defensive role and for deeper duties there are others better suited to it.
