Good, but ideally you'll need someone to sit deeper than Vieria and let him be box to box. He's always had an insurance policy next to him.

Surprised you say that Stob!

For what he brings there isn't many better in the entire draft, Keane, Davids and Viera are the only ones I would pick before him.

But hooking him up with Pirlo again was just something I couldn't turn down, there was no way he would have lasted till my next shot. The success Gattuso and Pirlo have had together is sensational.
 
I suppose given you have to wait 20 odd picks whilst praying he doesn't get taken makes it good strategy at this point. Especially after Makelele got taken and people might draft towards that position.

Yeah, well Snow/Cutch were going to take him 3 picks later so there wasn't a chance he would have lasted.

With Makelele - both great players but they are completely different and for what I want Gattuso is far better suited. Pirlo is the deeper, screening midfielder and I need an out and out ballwinner which Gattuso is more suited to than Makelele IMO

Have to agree. Gattuso is the perfect partner and compliments the flair of Pirlo and Iniesta alongside him.

Nah tbh we were gonna leave him until near the end. We actually didn't think he would go early.
 
Non- CL winners is becoming an issue, all the ones I want have won at some point
