Weight difference way too much. Cameron twice the size.
Taylor was valiant but Cameron a very good boxer and used her experience very well.

Cameron clear winner

Unanimous decision... I thought it was tighter than that to be honest. Loma definitely had the better monents and shots in the match. Gutted for him but Haney remains undefeated. He's lucky though as he was shaken a couple of times and the score could easily have been the other way round.

Where does Loma go now? That's his third defeat in 16 fights. Haney doesn't have to give him a rematch, so I'm not sure what's left for Loma now if the rematch doesn't happen. At 35 his options are definitely mote limited now he's lost his title shot.

Amazing fight and tough for anyone to lose. I thought Loma edged it overall but hopefully we get a rematch.

I think Haney boxed clever for the win. He did just enough for the judges but it could have gone either way. Loma definitely gave the better performance and had the best shots in the fight. Haney should count himself very lucky when he gets home tonight,.

I can't really shout robbery given that I found so many of those rounds too tough to score, but 116-112 doesn't smell right at all. I feel bad for Loma. He definitely didn't sound like a guy that was ready to retire after the fight at least. Maybe a move back to junior-lightweight is on the cards for him.

Yeah two point margin was fair but not 4

Maybe, but I think he deserves a rematch. I also think if he pushes himself a little harder he can absolutely win that match. Haney didn't threaten him at all throughout the entire fight, whereas Loma definitely had Haney worried a couple of times in the fight.

Sounds like from the commentators he made the same mistake in last round as Lopez fight

Cameron is from around my way and I've met her a couple times, she's a great girl and is regularly out jogging around the estate.

I did some merch for her 3 or 4 years ago and she wanted the KT fight then and was adamant she'd have too much power for her then (I know all boxers think like this) was good to see her make it her fight

She clearly won and it was so refreshing to get the decision against the home champion - I guess the judges aren't considered worthy of buying in the women's game yet

I was expecting a draw of some kind, despite the fact Cameron clearly won but I wondered if the judges might be influenced by the Irish crowd.

On a side note, Andy Lee should be nowhere near a mic - he’s too excitable and just screams random sh*te.

It would have been a travesty if Cameron hadn't got the win.

I thought Katie was going to lose from the moment she did that awful extended build-up and Cameron couldn't care less. She was working away in the ring staying warmed up, not a bother on her.

Anyone watch the Haney v Lomachenko fight? Lots of people claiming Lomachenko was robbed of a decision.

Nah, it was a very close fight, but Haney did just enough to win it. Loma could have won if he was a bit more aggressive. Haney was just boxing by numbers for most of the fight.

The fact Moretti gave Haney the 10th round is all you need to know, I don't think it's a "robbery" but I personally had it 115-113 to Lomachenko, the 116-112 card is a travesty.

Stevenson who picked Haney preflight got in the ring and he felt Lomachenko won the fight.

Many other professionals also thought he won, Crawford etc.

Yeah, I've seen a few saying the same. Quite a few also think it should have been a draw which would have ensured a rematch later this year. Loma definitely had the better shots, but I feel Haney's style and form looked better. That may have swung it for the judges.

I do agree a unamimous victory and with each judge having Haney up by 4 is definitely bullshit. There is no way he won by that margin.

I thought the 12th round probably swayed it in Haneys favour, I personally thought Lomachenko did the better work, Haneys jab in the first half of the fight was good and his body shots.

But considering how huge he is in comparison to Lomachenko with the reach advantage I felt Lomachenko edged it, but like I said either way no arguments or a draw.

It was close enough to justify a rematch for sure but I don't think it will happen and I'd be happy enough to see them both move on to other challenges tbh. On last night's evidence there's every chance a rematch would just lead to another close, disputed decision anyway. There's a good chance Haney will move up in weight as he seems to be having a tough time making lightweight, although his lack of power might be even more pronounced at 140. Tank and Stevenson would be great match ups for either man if they both stay at lightweight, or Loma could just drop down and probably immediately fight Valdez (that would be a cracker) and be a heavy favourite against any of the beltholders.

Yeah, he was coming on strong in the 10th and 11th rounds and had Haney wobbled in the 11th. It looked like he could even have pushed on to get the stoppage at that point but then he just couldn't get anything going in the 12th. If he'd won that on the judge's scorecards it would have been a majority draw. Having said that, that idiot judge Moretti scored the 10th round for Haney, and that was one of the clearest rounds in the fight that Loma won easily, so it mightn't have mattered what he did.

I agree. Haney might struggle going up, he was constantly rocked by Loma last night and although he hit lots of crisp clean shots, they didn't really look like they bothered Loma too much, if at all. He definitely lacks power. His speed and precision is his strength, but that might not be enough if he goes up a division.

The 10th score was an absolute joke. I can't imagine what he was watching. It certainly wasn't the fight. Maybe he got distracted or marked the wrong fighter?

It wouldn't be boxing if we didn't have at least one stupid and contentious decision from the judges. Luckily it wasn't a decisive score.. Loma should feel proud and can hold his head up high, disappointed,.yeah maybe a little:, but he knows he belongs in those types of matches now. He will win titles of that I'm sure.

This is one of those fights were a boxer wins a couple of rounds by a wide margin but gets edged out in a lot of the earlier rounds that pass people by. That's what happened here. Haney edged a lot of close rounds because Loma fought in bursts whereas in most of the rounds Haney was in control for more than half of the three minutes.

Yes, the 10th round (and the 11th) were definitely Lomachenko's, but I had this 7-5 Haney. He was more active and he had rounds in the bag before the championship rounds. I also gave Haney the 12th.

I don't support either fighter and I know Haney is a bit of a hate figure, but he won this. Six out of the first nine rounds were his and he edged the 12th.

Anybody kind enough to explain what’s happening tonight and how many world title bouts are actually going ahead? I am lost in the BBC pages/news/opinions and cannot make head or tail. Thanks!

I'm tuning into what will probably be an Okolie borefest.

Embarrassing performance by Pigford. 20(19)-0 and now we know why it took so bloody long to make a move.

Three WC bouts starting right now in the UK (Manchester, Bournemouth, Belfast) plus a “formal offer” from Fury to Joshua for a fight in September. Busiest day of the year!

Not sure which one to watch

Probably Okolie
