Total farce. 4 rounds of showboating and an utterly pointless ending.

Frank Warren doesn't even know the name of the fecking opponent. Charr is in the crowd, mate.

Can't really judge Fury at all from that. Bit unprofessional at times to say the least but it was never really a fight. A no contest. Good to see they have plans to fight again in August, hopefully it's a massive step up in quality, someone like Molina or Charr.

You sure ? I really want to love this sport but my luck with it doesn't seem good so far.
This was always going to be bollocks. Whyte Parker will be decent, 2 guys that don't feck about, desperate to win

So did Fury KO that bum?
No. He threw maybe 3 punches in the first round, pretended to showboat in the 2 and 3, and landed a couple of decent shots in the 4th. Seferi retired on his stool with barely a scratch on him. Farcical fight.

Sound! Ill give it a miss so.

Fury needs to shed at least another couple of stone to be taken seriously, I'm convinced he stopped training with two weeks to go as well. All in the run-up to the fight he's been posting training sessions and gym work video's, that stopped a few weeks ago and the comedy idiot made his return with visits to local restaurants seeming to get preference.

Another impressive win from Crawford, could have been stopped much earlier in all honesty. I wonder who he will fight next? Definitely either him or Loma for p4p.

Lots for Crawford to go for.

Dream fight against Spence Jr
Cracking fight against a fit Thurman
Or facing the winner of Garcia v Porter

Yeah the Spence Jr fight will definitely happen. I just think he will have another fight at the weight first. Thurman will need a tune-up after injury too.

He's quite active Crawford so he will definitely fight before the end of the year so yeah possibly winner of Garcia v Porter.

All those guys are with Haymon who is notoriously in house especially with his top guys. Even Spence said recently he intends to go through those fights before a potential Crawford one. Look for Crawford next two fights to be Benavidez and his mandatory.

Whyte is good in todays world but a very average boxer. Parker is shite.
I think it'll be a decent fight, suspect Parker will win on points. Think you're extremely harsh on Parker, he'll clearly not 'shite'

hes durable, that's about it.
Should never be PPV.
The fight shouldn't be PPV I agree, but PPV doesn't always equate to a decent fight. Look at Haye Bellew, the first one was shit enough but the second one was a fecking joke.....were they worth the money? FWIW, I reckon this fight will be miles better than both of them

Another name that's been throw around as a possible opponent for Crawford is Khan. If Khan doesn't want to get to 154 for Brook I feel that may happen since Hearn has Khan on what I believe is a 3-fight deal (2 left) and will want to get him the biggest fight available. Obviously Khan would get wrecked but think it's a decent sized match that could make a bit of a splash especially if Khan can say get a Broner or a Vargas in the ring and defeat them next.

Crawford is about as complete a fighter as there is in the sport right now. He fights great from orthodox or southpaw stances, is an excellent counter puncher but also a clinical finisher and excellent body puncher. I think the only fighter who's in his league as far as Boxing IQ is Lomachenko but he's probably the better infighter with Loma being the better defensive whiz/footwork. It's going to take something special to stop Crawford.

Regarding a Spence match I actually tend to think based on style a healthy Thurman (who knows if he'll ever be the same?) presents a harder match due to speed and movement for Crawford (than Spence). Spence is a quality fighter, but little to no head movement, fairly predictable offense and slow feet. I think he'd play into Crawford's hands and lose a very wide decision. A friend of mine with some decent connections in the boxing scene here in Cali and Nevada said he has it on good authority (from a guy with connections and affiliations with both camps) said Crawford and Spence did spar over two days within the last 12-18 months and that Spence didn't know what to do. He got completely befuddled and out boxed and walked down and beaten up during the sessions. Spence has a pretty strong reputation in the gyms after it being widely touted he gave Mayweather such a working over that Floyd quit the session and him almost KO'ing Broner with head gear on (had him on queer street according to Freddie Roach).

Here's my updated p4p rankings -

1. Vasyl Lomachenko
2. Terence Crawford
3. Gennady Golovkin
4. Naoya Inoue
5. Mikey Garcia
6. Olaksandr Usyk
7. Srisaket Sor Rungvisai
8. Juan Francisco Estrada
9. Errol Spence
10. Leo Santa Cruz

I don't rank Canelo because of the failed test. Expecting to see Usyk climb up into the top 3-4 if he's able to defeat Gassiev (who's just on the cusp of my list). Joshua has some good wins but I think he needs a Wilder win for me to put him in the list and he'd be high if he got that win. Thurman not considered due to inactivity.

Khan-Crawford is actually an interesting match up. Naturally you do favour Crawford, but stylistically, Khan would have success here. He’s never been outboxed; he’s either been KOd or pressured, but never outboxed. Crawford is in his prime however but if Khan can take his power, that’d be a close 12 rounds fight IMO.

Agree that you’d favour Crawford over Spence. Crawford>Spence>Thurman=Crawford is probably about right. In summary, Crawford will be the last man standing.

Btw, why are you ducking Canelo in your p4p list? The only difference between Canelo and the ten guys you listed is that he got caught. I put Canelo in at 4, and probably put SSR a bit higher.

He got caught and officially banned. I guess I’d have him just outside my top 5 if he didn’t piss dirty. He’s a very good fighter but he did lose to GGG pretty clearly for me and I think he’d lose to Jacobs and would be almost 50/50 with Charlo, Andrade, Saunders.

Then they came back with a much, much, much smaller offer for Deontay, which would have been even less than Deontay would have made in the United States, and wanted him to still travel to the UK for the fight. And we said yes.

"The reason we did is because Deontay is investing in himself. He wants this for the fans and he wants this for his legacy and he knows that being the undisputed heavyweight champ of the world will give him the financial gain as he proceeds.

No Deas, the reason is Joshua and Hearn holds all the cards. They set the terms. Joshua has the reputation, the titles and more importantly, he is the reason why this fight is so lucrative for both parties.

David Haye has retired

A really good fighter, world class at cruiserweight, had such power, speed and movement

Was always going to struggle in the age of the giant heavyweight, but still held his own

A shame his career was slowed down by such serious injuries late on. And really sad to see him unable to beat a fighter like Bellew, who would have been wiped out very easily by the Haye we all knew.

Definitely the right decision to retire, getting out after two decent paydays v Bellew and most importantly still with all his faculties

That 2nd Bellew fight will always leave a sour taste. He was clearly never fit enough and basically ripped off all the fans for a last payday.

Yeah great career at cruiserweight. The Mormeck win and also the Maccarenelli night were both great for him. Never really replicated it at heavyweight. He moved up when the division was awful and although he won a world title there it was never that great.

Probably should of never come back to fight Bellew twice but I could understand the logic (he wanted a big day day vs. AJ, got it vs. Bellew instead.)

His statement is worth a ready as well, thought it was humble and quite nice to read really. Good luck whatever he goes on to do now.

He addresses that in the statement in fairness. He felt fit and healthy and ready to fight. He just wasn't anymore and realised it during the fight. Nothing wrong with that and no reason not to believe him. I'm sure he came back for a big pay day but I'm also sure he thought he could beat Bellew the second time.

You don't really hear people saying Gary Neville or Rio Ferdinand conned the fans going on a season to long or a few games to many etc so there's no reason to not believe Haye saying he felt ready.
