Just watched the carl froch fight. He totally outboxed abraham with the jab and kept him under control all fight, not as explosive as usual but didn't have to be.Wish the ref would have told His big mouthed annoying scouse girlfriend to shut up though.

Textbook performance from Marquez. Katsidis is such a tough bastard and such a class act as a person that I'll always want him to win, but it looks like his career is going to play out like Arturo Gatti's - plenty of thrilling victories, but falls short whenever he fights s true A list opponent.

 Harrison has said that he is going to carry on fightingh and does not care about what people say about him.
He needs to listen at what people say , he is rubbish and no passion for a fight.
There is no way a pro fight that only throws 1 punch in a fight should be allowed back in the ring.
If he is not careful he will take a fight and really underestimate his opponent and get really hurt.

Time to call it a day Harrison , before you really do end up a laughing stock

Too late to stop himself ending up as a laughing stock I reckon, but yea he should call it a day before he gets seriously hurt. Surely he's had enough pay days that he doesn't need another?

I think he should continue fighting, laughing at him is becoming one of the most entertaining things in the sport. The man is pure comedy gold.

loved the way he was acting like he had become undisputed champion of the world when he won prize fighter & he was getting twatted in that untill he landed a lucky punch like in the European title win.

Great stuff from Froch on Saturday, controlled the range really well, worked his jab and mixed his punches nicely. Won me a bit of money as well. Had other money on him winning in rounds 1-3 but, in a display of heartwarming naivety, thought that meant him simply winning those rounds not winning by stoppage during those rounds. Lol.

Abraham was abysmal though... made Froch look like Pernell Whittaker and showed himself to be extremely one-dimensional. He had absolutely no idea what to do when it became clear that things weren't going his way.

Credit to Marquez as well, he really rolled back the years with that performance. It's the best he's looked in ages. Felt for Katsidis though, hopefully he bounces back from the defeat cos he's a great fighter and a class act all round.

So Pac/Mosley is taking place April 16th! Waste of time I just hope Shane doesn't get kayoed smh

Cotto/Margarito 2 either Vegas in May or New Jersey in June or may be the other way round I don't remember.

Just got back from York Hall, say some decent boxing. My pall won his 2nd pro fight by a DQ after his opponent thought he was a ram and tried to butt the shit out of him!

Fight of the year last night between Soto and Antillon and Donaire beat the shit out of Sydorenko looking like a problem right now.

His fight with Montiel will be a right tear up as will Soto's with Bam Bam

At the Acer Arena in Olympic Park, New South Wales, Australia, middleweight contender Garth Wood (10-1-1, 6KOs) scored a huge upset when he knocked out two-time world champion Anthony Mundine (40-4, 24KOs) in the fifth round of their fight on Wednesday night. Wood floored Mundine with a vicious left hook to end a scrappy affair 58 seconds into the fifth round. The knockout loss is Mundine's first since his knockout loss to German Sven Ottke in 2001, and his first to an Australian opponent in more than 20 fights against compatriots.

I love it.

Yeah but he's already been beaten by Mayweather. What will this fight prove? Anyway who's Money fighting next?

Probably just a money spinner then, Pac needs to keep fighting I suppose because (and in fairness I don't know the latest) I haven't heard shit about Mayweather for awhile. No idea, it should be Pac, really, anyone else is fairly pointless for Floyd.

Pac Moseley is a silly fight, what is there to gain for Pac? just wish him and Mayweather would get it on ffs.

Bit of a shit fight but who else is he supposed to fight?

It's a testament to Pacquiao's ability that the only real test out there for him (other than Mayweather) is probably Martinez, the middleweight champ.

Postponed apparently.

BoxingScene.com was advised by promoter Frank Warren that WBO/IBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko has suffered a back injury and withdrew from Saturday's fight with unbeaten British champion Dereck Chisora.

"I was informed about an hour ago that Klitschko pulled a back muscle and he was out of the fight. Dereck is very disappointed. He didn't believe it. He felt everything was fine. Three or four days before a title fight, most of the hard work is done," Warren told BoxingScene.com.

There are talks to reschedule the fight. Klitschko's team have to speak with Germany network RTL to get a new date.

“He tore a muscle in his back and has had back spasms, I have spoken to Shelley Finkel [Klitschko's US adviser] and if we can make a Klitschko fight with David Haye we will do that next and if not Wladimir will revert back to fighting Chisora.”

Lots of conflicting reports but Haye would be the big buck fight if they can agree terms.

I trust Wlad will be producing medical records to substantiate this so called back injury. Otherwise, he would be a MASSIVE hypocrite. :smirk:

Khan he do it.. whens the Maidana fight and whats everyones predictions..

Saturday night, probably around 4/5am. I expect Khan to outbox Maidana and take a wide UD. However, Maidana is a murderous puncher, and if he can catch Khan, it will be goodnight.

Still, Khan UD. Interestingly, Roach reckons Khan by KO in 6. We shall see.

Christ on a bike, murderous is no doubt the best word to describe some of those shots.

All Brook in the first. Kotey knocked down. This could be over quickly.

EDIT over.

Alright Lance! Thought you'd be watching xfactor tonight

Very disappointed with that one. Wanted to Brook get a decent work out. Kotey was rubbish. What do you make of Brook generally?

Hard to tell, thus far. Looks good in knocking out turds, but looked pretty ordinary against Jennings. I need to see him in against some serious competition. Hopefully that will happen early next year.

Khan 1/3 looks very short for a bloke with a suspect chin against a bloke who can bang a bit.

It's all about speed and head movement for Khan, there is no doubt he is a much better fighter than he was against Prescott but if Maidana catches him flush then I don't think he can handle it.

Has he really got a suspect chin though or is it just a case of people repeating what a few say on the web. I mean everyone seems to say this but any boxer in that division would have gone down if they took those punches off Prescott and Limond just caught him with one lucky shot, Kahn recovered well then battered him.

Maidana is the guy or one of the ones who everyone was calling for saying would kill Kahn, so if Amir wins just hope he gets the respect he deserves finally. After all his a world champion over there in a big fight doing well. Good chin or not there's not doubt he's an awesome boxer with proper skills. Can't wait for this. :D
