Klitschko will probably be gutted that he didn't finish the job. It honestly looked over and Joshua somehow hung on to come back and take the win. Amazing fight
Klitschko was gassed IMO, a younger version ends the fight.

Joshua lands even one of those power punches and it's lights out for Fury. Hes learnt from this as well, he won't come in this heavy again.

Joshua would struggle to get a connection in, Fury has a style that is absolutely nothing like any other fighter in the Heavyweight division. He's as awkward and attacks from all sides and his reach would give him a massive advantage.

I never thought he'd fight against but I reckon this will only motivate him to come back. Joshua, 90,000 again at Wembley and a chance for redemption

Just makes too much sense :)

Fury would school Joshua if he gets back to full fitness.
I don't agree. He had an impressive match on his career when he defeated Klitschko in points, in Klitschko's worst performance of all time. Klitschko was totally unprepared, one of those events which no-one predicted.

Since then, he has fought depression and has been fat. There is no way that he can reach the level needed to defeat Joshua. That trip has sailed some time ago.

Dream on. You are boxing clueless. Fury toyed with Wlad in germany, Joshua nearly got KOd on his home turf with Hearn setting it all up lol
Setting it all up. What does that even mean in boxing terms? You're deluded.

Maybe if the fat tramp gets off the coke we might find out. Don't count on it tough.

As great as that fight was, Fury and Wilder will have watched that with delight.

Fury has enough ability to outbox Joshua for 12 rounds without training another day. Unless he gets dropped, he'll be favourite to school AJ.

Wilder will see AJ's continued lack of head movement, gassing and requirement to take backward steps after a painful shot as every ingredient he needs to win a fight. Besides, Wilder throws shots from wide angles and in sharp, unconventional fashion. He will always back himself in anyfight with Joshua at any minute.

As for Wlad, he could dominate Joseph Parker after the summer if he chose to do so. That would be far easier work and become champion once again. He should in my opinion but he's a winner every night going home to Hp regardless.

And don't forget, he was seconds away from stopping AJ. The motivation and ability is still there.

I don't agree. As Wlad found out tonight. AJ has fast enough hand to close range and the power is significant. Against Wlad the absolute best Fury showed up, the one and only time that version of Fury has ever been seen. Do you think it will be seen again?

Fury doesn't need to be that good to beat Joshua. He just keeps his distance and jabs Joshua all night and Joshua won't be able to close the rang. Fury is even better at keeping distance than Wlad and he has longer arms, is faster and will not tire the way Wlad did. It will be good to see, its either an easy knock out for Joshua or a points win for Fury.

I felt it could easily have been level going into that round. Few of the rounds hard to call.
Yep, ditto, few meh rounds but then some awesome ones. Kind of by the by now I guess.

He will come in just as heavy, he isn't going to cut weight and Joshua will struggle to land one of those power punches on Fury.
So the last 17 fights were just a fluke? This was the heaviest Joshua has ever been.

Am i the only one who doesn't care for a Fury fight ?

Personally I think he's a disgrace and a complete moron, the only reason I would ever wish to see him in the ring again is so he can get completely destroyed and see his ego broken alongside him. Then he can feck off back in to obscurity.

That's why I said if Fury gets back to full fitness. If he doesn't he can't beat AJ. If he does he will just fight at range and out point Joshua.

Fury you mean ?

Joshua has some serious power when he puts it on. No one cant stand up to him. His problem is pacing himself and dangers in punching himself out

The only way to make that scores is by giving every even round (1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10) to Joshua which is very unreasonable considering that most of them were very close. Especially round 2 which in no way should have gone to Joshua.

Good that finished in KO, otherwise it would be one of those games ruined by refs.
Thing is I guess, given judges seemed weirdly reticent to score rounds 10-10, even if there's nothing between them, if you have a few rounds like that, you can easily feel your guy is four rounds down on where they should be i guess.

A great fight between two classy boxers. I thought Klitschko would box out the fight (surely he was ahead?) but AJ did what he needed to do. And feck Fury, boxing doesn't need an injection of Christian fundamentalism.

Wlad gets two points for his knockdown, but not AJ?

Rubbish. Have you even watched Fury's career? He struggled against absolute bums at times and was dropped hard by a cruiserweight in Steve Cunningham. Fury would need to be at his best to stand a chance. I agree that Fury's movement could cause Joshua problems but Joshua has significant hand speed and immense power.

Haven't seen them cards, they had that KO loop non-stop, some poster here told me they had Joshua up.

Wlad was up on one but the other two were too wide for AJ.

Steve Cunningham managed to, and it's certainly not the first time he has been hurt in his career. The Wlad fight seems to have warped views on Fury. Joshua has too much speed and raw power for Tyson.

People here are seriously underestimating Fury. The lad schooled Klitchko in middle of Germany, he made Klitchko who's famous for his movement look like a bloob, Klitchko barely landed a single blow on Fury.

Fury despite all of his antics and shenanigans possess a brilliant boxing brain, big frame, massive reach, incredibly awkward style and moves like a welterweight.

That's the thing. Against Wlad, you need to box a bit reserved because you can end on your knees any moment. Wlad had extreme punching power, could KO every one easily.

Against Fury, Joshua would be more offensive and don't be that much scared of getting KO. Fury has power, but not enough to KO Joshua. Which kind of gives Joshua the advantage.

Neither can I, I honestly didn't think he was 41, how does a 41 year old do that....

I'm 45 and my cardio fell off a cliff about a decade ago. For someone like Wlad to go deep into a HW title fight is incredible.

Wlad was up on one but the other two were too wide for AJ.
Okay. Still Klitchko dropping the pressure after 6th is a bit odd, he had strength and energy left but he just backed down.

And it happened right in the moment I was commenting here and to my dad that he's showing something he never had in his career - heart.
