The RedCafe Boxing Thread

Finally a big hype fight that lives up to it. Best fight I've ever watched. Also the Hearnes are such annoying crook cnuts. I wish after the fight the loser gets to beat them up.
Was really good after a couple of drab opening rounds. If you feel like watching something else good, this was fight was awesome- fecking savage.

Can't see it. Joshua is clearly more mature than we all thought. And has yet to reach his peak.

Wilders just a bit smart for him, and has just as much if not more power than klitschko. He's underrated because he's a dick but he's the better fighter by a distance at the moment

It's not hurt his reputation or his legacy. The fact he's still in there and taking a boxer like Joshua as far as he did at 41 is only a positive thing for him.

Agreed, one of the classiest personalities in all of sport.

Both represent what boxing should be tbh. Fury is a little cnut. Hope he gets demolished.

I could park my car in that gash above Vlads left eye.

I was too, and have been critical of him in the past, but it's hard not to be impressed with him today.
Impressed by both tbf, particularly how they came back from the knockdowns. Was a bit odd when both seemed totally fecked in the fifth and neither could go for the kill after their knockdowns cos they were so dead. Was kind of like a Rocky film.

Good interviews for both, but I hope that we won't see a rematch. Klitschko will be 42 by then, Joshua is still getting stronger and he will have the momentum.

Klitschko can analyze all he wants, the thing is that Joshua is just a stronger boxer. And he won't make the mistake of the fifth round again.

Joshua was ahead on points?

Classy interview from Klitschko. What a man.

Wlad is one of the smartest heavyweight ever though, Wilders isn't. He also hasn't defeated anyone that strong.

It's time for Tyson Fury to end this hype machine....
Joshua lands even one of those power punches and it's lights out for Fury. Hes learnt from this as well, he won't come in this heavy again.

Am I imagining it or is Klitschko so out of it after the final knock-down that he squares up to the referee, thinking he's Joshua?

He was toast. Never seem him like that in all his career.

Amazing when you think about it - the cardio capacity of a 41 year old getting hammered in the head is so much different than that o a 27 year old. Full props to Wlad.

Personally I enjoyed the Chisora vs Whyte fight, thought it was one of the best heavyweight fights i seen, a proper slugfest of extreme power, and it lasted the distance

Today Wladimir`s age caught up to him, plsu I think after losing against Fury, which he hadnt lost in a decade, you usually dont come back the same, kind of like Anderson Silva in mma

Won't happen. Still think that Fury's win over Klitschko was an one off.

Since then, Fury has been on depression. Joshua is getting better each day. Fury would have won a year or two ago, but that train has sailed IMO. Joshua puts him on his knees within 6 rounds.
