The difference between them as they stood there! Haye nearly a stone heavy and he look ripped. Bellew looks like some who has just been out robbing JD sports
 
Bellew has said that he thought Haye would be lighter and that he's over the moon he's so heavy, because he'll be knackered quickly.

1) I'm pretty sure he will be able to last 4 rounds, and that'll be more than enough time to knock Bellew out.
2) Bellew is 10lbs heavier than his previous heaviest! So does his logic not flaw himself? The fecking moron.

He went up in my estimations after that, it was nice to hear him being honest and not just a gobby twat.

Fast forward 24 hours and on comes Haye, now it's already clear in this thread how much I like Haye, and I couldn't wait to hear him big the fight up in his normal cheeky manner, but he didn't he was awful. He didn't let Jim White speak and was so angry he was constantly talking over him, sometimes for a full question, he just wasn't listening at all, and it's clear Bellew has got under his skin. The shite he was coming out with was outrageous and disgusting in my opinion. He said he wants to put Bellew in hospital, he won't be happy if Bellew walks out of the ring and he wont be happy if he's only down for 10 seconds. He also said Bellew will get a golden payday but it's pointless as he won't be able to spend the money because he will be permanently injured. What the feck is that shit? I get he's angry, but there's just no need for stuff like that. Bellew's wife or kids could have been listening, it's disgusting and Haye, someone I've always liked and defended, lost some credibility after those comments and a shit load of fans too.

He also said that when he used to play rugby and he tackled people, he didn't want to win the ball, he wanted to break their spines so they couldn't play again. He just sounded like a thug and a proper cnut to be honest. It wasn't nice listening at all and it's got sod all to do with being PC or anything like that, it's called manners, etiquette and respect. It's a sport after all, not some brawl down the pub. If Haye really wants to be like that then he should offer Bellew a fight in a park somewhere and give up the money, maybe by the sandpit at break time, after all, he sounded like he was still at school.

That's the thing and I saw this following point online, its not mine..... Bellew keeps claiming how he trains hard in the spit and sawdust gyms, that Haye lazes about in 'dem nightclubs' or on a yacht that he doesn't own, playboy lifestyle, refuting the fact that its all for show.... yet you look at the two bodies of them and its clear who trains harder, who eats better and therefore who is healthier.

Can't stand Barry and his annoying voice but Shane Mcguigan seems like a good character to have in your corner. Anyway see the security guards getting twitchy when Haye said "I'm going to smash your F head in"?? Shane and Adam both laughed at how Haye called all the Liverpool crowd "these retards know it as well" but later on as Haye went off Shane gave him a little tap on the leg. The fool Bellew has in his corner seems way off Shanes level.

Erm it's hard to say. I don't particularly like him when he is talking up his own fights but as a pundit on other fights he's really good.

His problem is he's not particularly good at the trash talk but thinks he is, it gets awkward to listen to it times as he seems to think he's the cleverest guy in the room. He's also a massive hypocrite. For example he was swearing at Haye in the press conference then thought it was hilarious to tell Haye to watch his language when he swore. He kicked off with Stevenson in a press conference and tried headbutting him but then whinged when Haye hit him....both are out of order but he can't take the moral high ground. The guy is playing the part of the "ordinary guy" when really he does seem a bit of a tit. At least Haye is a tit and we can see he is what he is.
 
Bellew's interview after the weigh in made me chuckle.

On one hand he's saying Haye will gas; he even guarantees it. Yet in the next breath he's saying Haye is a great athlete and in great shape. :lol:

A moment of silence will be held at Goodison before Everton's next match. I'll be really surprised if Bellew lasts more than 3-4 rounds.

You can have a great body but not have a big gas tank - Haye's hasn't been tested since the Klitschko fight, 6 years ago.

Bellew not only commented on how Haye looked on the eye, but he also said he was a great athlete. So what is he trying to say there? That he's a great athlete who will run out of gas?

Yeah probably. He's fast and strong with good balance and coordination but he's heavier than ever (for a proper fight) and 5 years older. It's not easy carrying round 16+ stone of muscle on fight night. It's not the same as running on Miami Beach.

Haye should be ok though, Bellew can't set the tempo of the fight because he's not good enough and at some point he'll have to engage. And it will end badly.
 
I really want Haye to cave Bellew's head in so that he will be unable to talk ever again or even fight for that matter.

I dunno Haye saying it as trash talk is one thing but to wish a fighter to never be able to talk again is a bit extreme. The guy is risking is health and well being for peoples entertainments. Like them or dislike them but all boxers and fighters deserve fans respect.

I can't wait after Haye has beat him for the big hugs and that they were always mates all along :sigh:

This fight should never have been made. Haye is too quick, too strong, too talented, too good for Bellew.

And hopefully Bellew doesn't get too hurt for what will certainly be his biggest payday

Probably.

I think if the worst happens and Bellew does get hurt then questions should be asked about Eddie Hearn in particular. To me this reeks of him feeding Bellew to Haye to hype up a potential Joshua fight.
 
What time would you expect the main event to start tonight?
 
Hmm may miss it then.....if it's as quick as it should logically be, won't get back til 12, so hopefully can miss the spoilers and acquire it.
 
Also anyone noticed how that massive banner in the background with all the fighters on, it says, Eddie hearn and Hayemaker Ringstar promotions, not Matchroom and Haymaker Ringstar!! Apples and pears!!

Bellew playing the please reframe from swearing, children present card after Haye rips into him yet says nothing and smiles when all those scousers chant "hooo the f'in ell r yoooo" to Haye....
 
Couple of hours until the main event. Hyped for this after a disappointing day of football for us.
