The war of words between Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko is getting nastier than ever before.
On Thursday, former long-time heavyweight champion Klitschko came out with a statement in which he claimed that his upcoming opponent's recent comments on Jewish people made him sound "like Hitler."

The accusations came a month after Fury, the WBA and WBO heavyweight champion, was filmed in a controversial YouTube video that Klitschko believed was a step too far.

Two weeks ahead of the scheduled rematch between Fury and Klitschko, the Ukrainian fighter suggested that Fury ought to be suspended for how he represented the sport of boxing but, on Friday, the undefeated Manchester fighter hit back in a foul-mouthed response aimed at his rival.

"This is a message for Wladimir Klitschko," Fury said on Instagram.

"He recently said I'm like Hitler in the articles in the newspapers. Wladimir obviously has no education on the matter and he doesn't realise that Hitler killed hundreds of thousands of gypsies, if not millions.

"And to call me that, Wladimir, is a very bad insult, friend. Because a lot of my ancestors were killed and murdered and brutally mass-murdered by Hitler.

"And for you to call me that, is a very bad insult.

"Let's not forget that it's your people, the Ukrainians, were the guards at the death camps where my people were slaughtered.

"So if you really want to go into it, we can both play silly cnuts. Can't we? You stupid fecking Ukrainian prick."

Interesting commentary on a recent Breazeale fight...

Jesus he looks terrible. Joshua is gonna walk through him so easily. I can't wait til people get sick of watching Joshua fight bums and he actually has a good fight. The problem is it won't be for a few more years cos his knock outs are brutal and a lot people are entertained by it despite how pointless it is.

On another note who many rounds in Joshua going tomorrow? I reckon it'll be done in 2 again.

Luckily 1 of my mates has ordered it so won't have to worry about a stream or forking out 15 quid! Murray vs. Groves makes it worth watching.
Any idea what time the Groves and Eubank fights start?

The bookies have it down for 10pm mate. Whyte's on now and then there's Conor Benn (4 round fight) and Eubank which won't go the distance so I reckon it could be any time after 9:30ish really.

Cheers Ogg. Croatia-Portugal not great!

Very predictable so far. Only proper fight tonight is Murray/ Groves. Want Murray to win but feel Groves will win in the later rounds.

I don't see what Murray brings to the SMW division. He was a tough fighter at MW but no power at that weight, let alone SMW. OK financially the best fights were at SMW for him but he is just a sacrificial lamb for Hearn in the SMW division. Surely he wants the JDG - Groves rematch.

God my tablet is so weak, streams are glitchy. Only come in late after footie. Grove on points?

GGG would destroy Eubank IMO. I hope it happens.

Groves is easily ahead on points. Both fighters looking tired but I doubt Murray has the power to close the job and is at risk of TKO himself.
Cheers. You speak much more sense in this thread;)

Aye! Was reading that it's both Murray and Grove's last hope for another title shot. Why would either get another one, regardless of the outcome! Ship sailed.

James De Gale is generally regarded as the best SMW in the world at the moment. He has hit the road and has racked up some really impressive wins that haven't been noticed because they were in America. Groves beat JDG (wrong decision IMO) back in the day. The rematch with Groves is a massive fight in British boxing so Hearn wants that eventually. He needs to build Groves up though after Froch eliminated him. Murray was a super tough fighter at MW but has little punching power, regardless he hung in there against elite fighters at MW (Golovkin and Martinez) so has a 'name'. Murray isn't a SMWmand all his qualities are reduced as he moves up. But for Hearn he is a name that he can use to build Groves up again and eventually hype the big earner against JDG.

Hung in there against Martinez? He beat Martinez, and got a draw on the judges scorecards against Sturm in Germany.

Surely Groves is, or is close to, being written off as a nearly man?
Dunno if JdG v Groves is really box office, irrespective of de Gale's resurgence, but then again, if AJ can command £17ppv, I can see why they are trying to line up other 'stars'.

OK fair enough. But if you are going to move up to a division where you are physically smaller, you need to bring exceptional physical attributes, in boxing, speed and/or power, does Murray have those?
