how the feck was Martin IBF champion??

I can't take anything from that Joshua performance. Martin was just there to be hit, not lateral movement, no head movement, just a walking punchbag. You can't stand still against a mechanical power puncher like Joshua.

Was tempted to do so but then started watching the golf & just had this on a stream. Great decision :D
I've not watched, just kept an eye on this thread, will watch it on d/l tomorrow.

Remember Hatton v Pac? Imagine paying for tickets and flights to Vegas for that. It's why I'd never pay for a boxing event.

Can't see anyone in the foreseeable future stopping him. He's only 26 too.

Joshua Vs Haye next?

I think Haye will dodge.

Isn't Haye getting on a bit now? Joshua would probably destroy him.
Yeah, but is back into it. Smart enough to not get hit -- too quick, too smart. Would win by decision or KO in later rounds imo.

I think Haye would win.
Would be a good fight. Haye will catch him with a good shot at some point, and he can evade a punch better than Martin for sure. But it's lights out if Joshua does end up hitting you.

Possibly, Joshua seems to be doing incredibly well though. Is a fight with Fury on the cards for him eventually?

In the heavyweight division, it's lights out regardless. That's a truth against any top heavyweight ever.

Joshua never been in the latter stages of a fight yet. No one knows how he'll respond, but with that power it is hard to see his fights lasting. Who thinks he could knock out Fury?

Haha, that Martin was a world champ?
The sport always has been a shambles.
Hard to even judge AJ on that, albeit we know his power is immense.

Well at least we've found Audley Harrison's successor.

Could definitely knock him out... thing with Fury is, he's very unorthodox. Hard to say... has never looked world class, but is the champion.

If he does I'd love him forever.

Honestly don't think he'd be able to land a clean punch on Fury for twelve rounds, or however long it goes.

Hard not to like Joshua, he comes across so humble and genuine.

I remember being surprised when catching a bit during the interviews at how both guys seemed reasonably okay-ish, Joshua especially. I could get right behind him in a fight against Fury.

He's an awkward cnut for sure. I think he'd miss a lot too.

Anyone who tells you how humble he is can't be particularly humble. But yeah, seems like a nice lad.
