Good win from Khan but I wasn't too impressed. He's fast, gets good combinations in but still takes too many shots and someone stronger would've caused Khan more problems.

Khan boxed close to his best and still couldn't finish Molina, an opponent who just wasn't good enough but he did show heart lasting 10 rounds despite being cut.

I guess this means he is the best boxer in the world again. Bring on Floyd!

He has too prove himself agains good light welterweight who can hit before people get too excited and not feather fisted light weights. And what the feck is that belt he got?

Its a rebuilding process for him and the longer he is with Hunter the better the focus should get. Was a lot better today considering what came before it but yes the opposition was sub standard today.

load of crap to be honest. Too easy for Khan, the guy was too short, didnt have the reach to get in to khan, he had no power, he didnt have any speed in spite of what his camp said.

would have taken a miracle for that guy to win.

feck off Khan. 'Lucky'. IIRC, he knocked you down 3 times! Garcia would've knocked him out tonight as well. Arrogant cnut.

I bet his next fight is on Box Office.

I think sky have said they have given up on box office for a while after Khan/Haye farces, last time they had Khan as box office only 50 odd people ordered and it had to be moved to sky sports 3.

He gave Molina one free shot that had it been Garcia, he'd have been chewing the canvas again.

Nothing lucky about it, he battered through his shit defence. Lucky is Khan's win against Willie Limond

Had to switch it off there. 'Amir khan is back in business'.

He'll be back in business when he fights a real fighter again, not some no mark. So yeah f**k off Sky

I think Khan deserves a bit of credit. His hand speed and punch power combined would cause anyone problems in the ring. If he can sort out his defence, which he appears to be trying to do, and mature a little as a fighter, I think he'd be a challenger for anyone. I'm not going to join the Sky 'He's back' bandwagon but I think his fight was chosen as a confidence booster and a means of getting himself back on track.

I certainly thought there was a difference in the way Khan fought tonight and he seemed to take a more measured, slightly more mature approach. I doubt he'll ever fight Mayweather as be would almost certainly lose but I reckon if he improves the areas above, he'll be a good challenge for pretty much any other fighter at his weight

He may not have knocked him down with sheer power but he devastated his face, its not like someone from the crowd throwing coins did that, it was Kahn.

If I was Kahn I take another fight or two to try this backing off routine out a bit, see if he really can stay out of the war but it seems like he'll be jumping right back in there. Risky.

I think that a lot of you are being harsh on Khan.

He showed a much more measured approach in his first fight with his new trainer. I feel that he needs another fight to work on his new approach before he faces off with someone who is a genuine threat.

Regarding the Danny Garcia fight: Garcia had landed a number of shots on Khan before he dropped him. Khan laid his chin on a plate for him because he thinks that he can mix it with anyone, it is that courage that, in part, makes him a very good fighter but is also his Achillies heal. It is also worth remembering that Khan had also lasted 12 rounds and won against one of the biggest punchers in boxing in Marcos Maidana. Maidana is a much more dangerous puncher than Garcia, Khan showed Maidana's power much more respect (still not enough) than he did Garcia's, he basically showed Garcia no respect at all. Should Khan box on the outside in a rematch with Garcia then he will win every single round against him. Granted that Garcia will have his moments, but Khan's job will be to limit them to a few as possible and ride out any storm that may occur.

 Jesus, he can't win with some of you lot. Molina wasn't the best but he was dominated from start to finish and Khan won every round. Instead of looking for any little criticism you can find, just accept it for what it was - a very good performance against limited opposition.

With Garcia Khan won the early rounds quite comfortably. His defence was a shambles when he got rocked with Garcia's left hook and he never recovered from that punch, though he did fight on. He's a more talented fighter than Garcia and if he cuts out his tendency to fight on when hurt instead of covering up and recovering, then he would win IMO.

Indeed. The manner of the Garcia victory influences the way people remember the fight. There's no doubt Khan was winning before that big left hand.

If he really can sort his defence out (huge IF) then Khan is easily capable of beating Garcia.

I'm not going to toss off the way Sky were because he beat a very limited fighter moving up in weight though.

Khan thinks he's an elite fighter, if he is I'll happily dish out praise to him when he beats another elite fighter. Got to remember, Molina doesn't really have any power, when he's fighting against someone he knows has power it will change the whole psychology of the fight and make things tougher for him.

I'm not sure if I've ever seen a British fighter so disliked by the British public, I actually don't know anyone on a personal level who doesn't think he is a twat. Even if he wants to call out Garcia that's fair enough I can understand that but maybe he should give the guy who splattered him across the ring some respect because it might just happen again if he leaves himself open and I hope he does.

He said Garcia was lucky, amusing because Khan needed a large slice of luck to avoid losing to Willie Limond. Its that sort of stuff that puts people right off him.

I don't get the hate at all.

OK it was hardly a bold prediction and I spelt his name wrong but....

Really like the look of Anthony Ogogo at the Olympics. He'll probably lose this fight against the World #1 and he's perhaps been a little over excited but his technique looks good.

He'll go pro I reckon.

EDIT: He only went and beat him! Get in lad.

Called it! He's signed with GBP.

I thought a few of the TeamGB boxers looked better, but looked like he did have some skills to be fair.

Not content with calling out fellow British heavyweight boxing star David Price, Tyson Fury has aimed his sights at another noted heavyweight - newly recrowned UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez.

Mexican-American Velasquez destroyed then-champion Junior Dos Santos to reclaim the UFC's heavyweight championship of the world on Saturday night in Las Vegas.

And now Fury, who has already made clear his desire to fight David Price and Vitali Klitschko in 2013, says he fancies a crack at the UFC superstar - either in an MMA bout or a boxing contest.

Posting on his Twitter page, Fury accused Velasquez, a collegiate All-American wrestler and two-time UFC heavyweight world champion, of being on steroids, and challenged him to a bout "in a cage or ring".

Cain valasquez is a little midget on steds bring it on I'll fight. Not a man born from his mother can beat me! Contact Hennessy sports!

@cainmma I challenge u to fight all in in a cage or ring! It could be billed as the man vs midget lets get it on! U small stif idiot. Tit!

Fury went on to tweet UFC president Dana White, saying, "I'm the new baddest man on the planet I'll smash @cainmma. Let's get it on!"

It's highly unlikely White would sanction another boxer vs MMA fighter event in the UFC, with the last bout proving a one-sided mismatch.

 Such a wum. He would get fecked up.

feckk I would pay to see that, Tyson is a right prick. He would beat him in a boxing match though, but would get killed in MMA.

What fight is the end referring to Phil, Boxer vs MMA fighter in UFC?

I'd love to see Fury against Valesquez. Fury is an absolute bellend and would get absolutely destroyed in an MMA bout.

Randy Couture vs James Toney. Watch it if you haven't seen it, it's quite funny.

 Cheers, ffs that was a bit of a joke. That fight was over as soon as he got taken down.

On the other hand: Ray Mercer knocked out Tim Silvia in about 20 seconds. Silvia was a better MMA fighter than Mercer was a boxer too.

It's apples and oranges though, if they fight in a cage Cain wins, if they fight in a ring then Fury wins. 9 times out of 10 that is, because this is fighting and anything can happen

EDIT: Why does it always seem to be boxers talking more shit about MMA than the other way round? I may be wrong on this but it seems like that. You had Floyd Mayweather, Bernard Hopkins (who changed his tune), Bob Arum waffling on about MMA etc.
