I finally win in the Head-to-head & now the scores won't update.
What are we doing this weekend?
I'm thinking of putting Aguero in for Tevez but I don't see City scoring much at WBA.
Who do you guys have as defenders? I could really use defenders that actually score..

I don't really know what to do with my team this week, I thing I will sit tight this week and look to make two transfers next week. Or possibly Demel out and Koscielny or Mertesacker in, if I knew which one would start.
As for defenders that score, I mainly go with three at the back, Cole Zabaleta and Rafael. Demel is on my bench and I use him when the fixtures favour a 4-4-2, but my fifth defender Barnett (Norwich) hasn't come off my bench all season.

So, I have RvP in my team tieing up a lot of funds, should I sell him & release funds to bolster my defence then?
I refuse to put any more Shitty or Chavs in my team, I cringe every time I see Hazard & Toure as it is, so which alternative forward do I have to replace RvP? Fletcher or Defoe I guess?

I've sunk to new lows and put Suarez in my team. Also have Berbatov and Demba Ba.
Now at the lowest position I've ever been in any fantasy football game ever. And I'm still convinced the team's quite good. I now know what the onset of senility feels like. Where's me teeth.
As long as RVP is still scoring I can't see how you drop him. Plus Stoke and Newcastle have decent fixtures coming up so Crouch and Ba should get you decent points as well.
You have some decent defenders, you could possibly use one more defender from a top four club that plays regularly. The problem is United and Chelsea's fixtures don't look good over the next little while and City rotate too much.
Maybe you could raise money elsewhere, De Gea doesn't play enough for me and Foster and West Brom are having a good run, so a cheaper second keeper might make sense. Or possibly look at replacing Toure with a cheaper midfielder.

I'd like to get Rafael in the team, but I don't have the funds. Toure was a replacement for Kagawa, I'm not sure why, I felt dirty making the transfer. but I can release fund there for Rafael perhaps.
I think De Gea will play quite a bit & will start getting clean sheets once we sort out our defence.

I've just switched Torres (who was only in for a week) for Ba and Foster for Begovich because it freed up .2m which I could do with and Fosters out anyway.
Got Ivanovich, Rafael and Demel in defence but going to be transferring Ivanovich out for Cameron probably, just because Ivanovich is so bloody expensive and I want the funds for midfield. Which at the moment is Routledge, Hazard, Fellaini and Michu. I'm gonna take Routledge out and with the funds from Ivanovich get Mata in there.

I was looking at the same thing. Already did Cazorla for Silva and was thinking of using my other free transfer to get rid of Tevez but not 100% sure about Giroud, may go for Berbatov instead.

Part of me thinks that as well. That's why I have been sitting on moving on Tevez for a few weeks now. Just that Tevez has one goal in the last eight games and has only played the full 90 once in that stretch. What with City scoring a lot of late goals it's frustrating when it happens with Tevez already subbed out. No doubt if I transfer him he will begin to score regularly again.
I agree. Keep Tevez for this week at least but also watch Giroud. His stats point to him scoring a lot of points sooner or later.

Going to replace Jenkinson now that he's not getting any game time. O'Brien and McCartney of West Ham both look like good bets in terms of players who will play but will also free up some funds. Which one should I go for? I'd only use them on the bench for when someone is injured/suspended/has a trickier fixture.
So do I bail out of Hazard now & put my money in Carzola or (spits) Silva?

The points average was 38, which was my score & pretty much describes my performance this season. Mid table in the hth too, decidedly average...
I'm thinking of the same. I want to drop Hazard and bring in Bale or Silva but the thing with City is, there might be chopping and changing and Silva might not start every game. I know he's their best player but City do rotate a bit.

That is some team. What does your bench look like?
Looks good on paper but that strategy seldom works out as planned. This gameweek for example, the team with most stars in my h2h league collected the least amount of points. Not sure about having two strikers from the same team either, Rooney plays more like a midfielder these days and when Kagawa comes back, RvP and Rooney will get more rest.

It's very weak, but I figure the bench rarely comes into play if your starting 11 is playing week in week out. The only notable player on my bench is Fellaini.
Rooney takes the penalties and some of the free kicks though. He's a guaranteed striker and I don't think Kagawa will bench RvP or Rooney. It's good having Rooney and RvP on the same team because if Rooney assists Van Persie (which he has done a few times) then both players collect the points. But you're right, Rooney is more of a midfielder these days..
Market value. I waited til some players aquired high market value and then sold them for players that I think will do better in the second half of the season. For example I'm 0.1 M away from acquiring Leighton Baines..if Vertonghen value goes up or Baines goes down. I will swap.
