The first leaves me with funds going forward but it's like for like in terms of points scoring ability.
The second takes most of my transfer fund but should be a big increase in points scoring ability, Rafa factor not withstanding.
I think it has to be the 2nd.

A few weeks ago I was doing great in the H to H. 10-0-0 and top of the league. Now I am 11-1-3 and down to second. Seem to be spinning my wheels a bit in this game. Haven't used my wildcard yet was hoping to hang on til the January Wild card and save the other one til later in the year. Not so sure anymore.
Why transfer Rafael? Do you suspect he will be dropped for Smalling or Jones? As for Cole I transferred him out about a month ago. But I wonder about Olsson, if West Brom have peeked. Two loses in a row. Bassong of Norwich, Caulker of Spurs or Huth or Shawcross of Stoke might be better options.
I hope Ba doesn't play at all tomorrow. Have him left and Rafael is the first man on from the bench with 9 points. Been missing too many points lately because of subs doing better than starters.

We weren't exactly wrong. United conceded twice. He had the one assist before the match.

I had Rafael in but took him out because although he's a threat with assists and even goals United are shocking at keeping clean sheets.

I have probably done even better. Exchanged Vertonghen with Gallas, guess who scored for Spurs? And to top it off, exchanged Petric with Rodallega, guess who scored for Fulham?
What to do with Fellaini? Out for 3, but has gone up 0.6 from when I bought him. I only get the money back I paid if I go to transfer him then will have to pay the steeper price when I want to bring him back.
Means I won't be able to have the team I ultimately want (bringing Suarez in for Tevez and possibly Bale for Cazorla unless he has a run of good form now) as I'll be short by few hundred thou. Absolute peck.

I was thinking about making Ba my Captain this week as the Chavs have double bubble, although I can see Rafa playing Torres as usual & bringing Ba on late or something annoying like that.

I had been spinning my wheels the last month and still have my season long wildcard left, so I used my January wildcard as soon as possible. Hopefully with the two double game weeks coming up it will give me a boost.

For the chelsea double I've transferred in Ba, Hazard and Mata while making Mata my captain.
Southampton also have the double so I've brought in 3 of their defenders (who knows they might keep a clean sheet against Aston Villa and that would be a stroke of genius on my part)

Stick with RvP as Captain or switch to Ba for this week? Benitez is such a tit he probably will only bring Ba on for the last 15 mins in each game & I'll end up with 4 points whereas RvP will get at least a goal, an assist & a bonus point.

With the January transfer I've been able to bring in 3 Chelsea players and 1 Southampton. Anyone how long you can use the January unlimited transfer wildcard, is it through out Jan or just till 1 game you use it. I've moved my team around a lot this week.
If you use your wildcard you only have unlimited transfers until the next deadline.
I've used mine to bring in a couple of Southampton players to go with the three I already have from Chelsea and also some Arsenal and West Ham players in preparation for the week after.
I'm going all out to try and catch up. Although I've potentially fecked my team right up.
