It was becoming clear he couldn’t take us any further when we were still struggling to play quality football and he had no new ideas.
No we’re going backwards because he can’t motivate them either and still hasn’t fixed issues in our squad.

I backed José a lot but it’s obvious something isn’t right at the club. I don’t think he’s the right man to change the outcome.

What do people expect to happen if Jose does go? I mean, it’s obviously turning into another disaster of a season, but the next appointment has to be right or there’s absolutely no point.

No matter how the penalty shootout ends, Mourinho has to go, two games at Old Trafford against Championship calibre teams like Wolverhampton and Derby and two lucky draws... And all of that after getting dismantled at home by Spurs... Change is needed and I heard a certain French manager would be available (no, not Arsene  )

feck it I'd take Wenger at this point. Atleast the football would be better to watch than it is now

It's over. He really needs to go. Love or hate him it's simply not working. Season is only going to go worse from now on. The meltdown has already started.

What the hell is he telling his players in the break between each match ? We looked dogshite in every second half of every game this season, every game, even when we won.

He's failing to get any response from the players. Results are going downhill and not to mention the poisonous relationships between him and Pogba.

Loved him but love the team more. This is going down hell and we need to part away. Part companies on mutual consent and let Carrick be the interim manager for the rest of the season.

We've gone through the negatives ad infinitum but what are the actual positives of having Mourinho in charge?

What’s that supposed to mean? No point sacking underperforming manager?

What do people expect to happen? Erm improvement in performance. Not get bossed by Derby or look inept in all our games.

The only positive I can think of is that there is no guarantees anyone else is available that would certainly do a better job. It'll also cost money to get rid of him.

Err you stop the bleeding for now, rather than like complete morons continue doing what's not working? Literally every fecking club sacks their manager when it stops working, and this question is never asked by their fans.

Do you Chelsea should've continued to spend the entire season rotting under him when he was trying to relegate them? Or Madrid should've stuck with Benitez when it quite obviously wasn't working with him?

I've tried to hold off, but there's really no reason at this point to keep him. Woodward doesn't believe in him enough to back him and the performances have been basically awful aside from Burnley and Watford.

3 years in that's not good enough even with concessions made that our squad isn't good enough either. At some point if the team can't dominate any opponent or just generally give a shit then it says something about the manager's ability to get the best out of the squad.

We can’t rely on Phil Jones to do anything. We have a mediocre squad with a few good players, but the tactics have to reflect what “talent” we have at our disposal.

At home, against fecking Derby.

Can’t wait for the Cafs two José super fans to come in when their condescending shite and tell us that he’s actually doing a great job.

Lampard manages to get Derby playing entertaining football after a few months in charge. What's Jose's excuse? He didn't get a CB?

I was always in the stay camp, but part of me is thinking that it may be time for him to go as it looks less likely by the day that he's gonna turn things around.

Maybe let McKenna act as a caretaker for a few weeks and see how it goes before getting a new ma'ager.

I don't know! Whatever the board decides for now. Let's see.

Don't know if he's lost the dressing room yet..
We just don't look like we have any ideas, and that comes from the lack of coaching. Does no one at the club realise this? We can't carry on this way. Losing is one thing, but looking so aimless and disorganised is not acceptable.

This is basically Chelsea third season all over again. I remember them getting KOed by Stoke on pens in this season as well.

Time to part companies before the season goes even worse. It's one ride down to hell from now on.

We're three managers in since Fergie and none of them have improved us. Can't see getting Mourinho out making us any better. Ah well, see you all in the 'The *next manager* out' thread in two years time.

Some people keep saying that Mourinho needs to out but didn't realise that some of the players played really bad. If you don't perform well in your job, you wouldn't ask your boss to fire himself. With respect to all people, those haters just want to reflect their failures in life and point their fingers to Mourinho.

I do think we have massive flaws in the team but no way are our players so shit to get outplayed by fecking Derby at home. This is all Mourinho and his dinosaur tactics. Get him out asap.

 not laughing at your post but laughing at the fact one is questionning the benefit of sacking him. Of course it doesn't solve anything but it stops the bleeding like you said. Some people want a perfect solution for every problem.
