Explanations needed now for anyone who still votes in. Are our players objectively only the 6th best team in the Premier League? Why should a team 15th in La Liga have destroyed us tonight? How many players does Jose need to make us good again? Would you take Henderson, Gigi and Milner in our midfield or Lovern in our defence? Why was the same squad 2nd last year ahead of Spurs and Arsenal when they have made no real investments? Anyone who believes Jose is in should be able to answer these questions.

Instead of focussing on what we don't have, once we should focus on what we have and try to get the best out of it in more free flowing way.

I think we rarely concede by losing headers on set pieces. Our problem lies with lack of mobility and fight for first and second balls in the middle, which is a self created problem with team selection and tactics deployed on the pitch. We concede too much space for opposition to penetrate effectively and the defence get exposed without the play being holded easily. If your only way is to expect opposition to make mistakes than you gotta have ball hoggers in the middle at every challenge which certainly is not the case and it doesn't work anymore. We can't even keep the ball for more than 15 seconds with the style mourinho wants them to play, these players are lot better than this. Pretty sure under different tactics we'd look lot better and competitive than we have been.
We would not. We are not balanced at all. People forget we had a possession. higher I'm charge of us previously. We defended better but were still largely sure creatively. It's time to admit we have bigger issues than just coaching.

Mourinho was a good manager but the game has changed and he hasn't moved along with it. Get someone in that is up to date with the modern game.

Players are simply playing for themselves and that is within themselves. There is no team.

We lost a meaningless game on the same night Juventus lost away to Young Boys.

MOURINHO OUT!!!!!

If Pogba had scored the easiest chance we've got all game long it ends 2-2 away at Valencia, hardly a poor result if you ask me.
The anti-Mourinho crowd is just willing to use any kind of result that isn't a victory against the man, ignoring context and actual game events

Get hammered by Liverpool on Sunday and that should hopefully see him out

 you aren't a United fan. How can you still come in here and make excuses for Mourinho?

Nice way to waste a post. Noone cares about the result. It's the football that is devoid of ideas and has been for so long. Mourinho no longer has a tactical understanding of the game and is completely inflexible regarding his philosophy. He's done, time to manage Portugal.

Crazy talk. Their front 6 was carried by Pogba and Dybala. In fact the rest of the midfield was rotated with him being the only guaranteed started.

Marchisio, Khedira and co are better midfielders than anything Pogba has been playing with at United. That's before we even look at Dybala/Mandukiz and entire defence. It's just a fact that's he's always had better players around him at Juve/France than here.

Pogba's rise to prominence at Juventus was astonomical at a time Juventus had a CM who had more talent then the majority of players Mourinho bought on our behalf put together. Also note that Pogba was 19 when that incident happened. Sir Alex caught Giggs at around the same age, with alcohol in his hands. That's doesn't mean that either of them were trouble.

So what, you said no coach had ever criticised him before and that's demonstrably not true.

Funny thing is I don't even like Mourinho I just don't think people shouldn't invent reasons to criticise him when there's plenty of perfectly valid ones already.

He was offside

Win Rate Including All Games This Season:

City - 80%
Chelsea - 74%
Arsenal - 70%
Liverpool - 70%
Tottenham - 67%
United - 43%

Obviously Chelsea and Arsenal playing in Europa increases their win rate a tad. But we're very much the odd one out.

Winning is the only excuse for this style of football, last season was just about excusable, this season isn't.

Those 5 teams are fecking streets ahead of us. We already knew that. How do we look against our actual peers, in mid-table?!?

You realise it was given offside so that is irrelevant. 2-2 away to the 15th team in La Liga, when a win means you’d go through top is a poor result.

Also, a decent 2-2 with missed chances is understandable. We were dreadful tonight though. I’d argue that the context and actual in game events is one of the main issues for the “anti Mourinho crowd”. The tactics are awful, and the players don’t want to play for him.

The Mourinho and Brexit threads have genuinely started to resonate with each other on an emotional level.

I can only assume that the 400 or so people who voted "Jose in" have stopped coming on to the Caf.

No other reason?

A large percentage of the 'staunch 300' are a combination of stubborn posters who refuse to see the light and oppos on the wind-up.

We could put this argument to bed if the mods allow us to view the names of the voters, but for some reason or another, they wish to keep it a secret. God knows why.

Unless the board act quickly for that slim chance of salvaging top 4 we're most likely going to be in a similar if not the same position as in 2016 when Jose took over.

Out of the CL, squad low on confidence, and lots of deadwood to clear out.

Can't believe he allowed the virus to ruin another game for us this season with his lack of effort. Obviously except for the majority of games that he was our best player. Maybe an experienced manager like Jose should stop letting Pogba control our training and tactics.
