Struggling to think of the words to describe how despondent I feel about the slow, torturous, inevitable crash out of the CL we are drifting towards. We could sack Mourinho now and actually have something to play for in the first half of next year but we won't. Why am I even watching these bloody games when there are countless more rewarding things I could be doing? Or even just things that won't put me in a foul mood.

Please god, end this nonsense soon so we don't have to sit through another half year of this.

Poor Jose, if only Ed did his job and got Aldeweireld we would be smashing teams for fun right now.

The current situation is by far the worse we’ve been in since SAF.

A bunch of shite on massive wages who we’ll struggle to get rid of, and we need about 6 new players in the starting 11.

Another game, another travesty of a performance. I don't know why I bother.

Juve are ACTUALLY losing at Young Boys, we have a golden opportunity to top the group...and here we are struggling to even keep the ball in Valencia’s final third let alone create chances.

It happens too often and it’s simply pathetic.

But we beat Fulham 4-1 on Saturday! If you couldn’t enjoy that, you’re not United fan!

Wish he'd just feck off already. The players haven't done justice on the pitch but he can't even put together a functioning team. He's fecking past it, now piss off to Madrid.

Why are we seemingly the only club in the world where firing manager always means the worst or won’t change anything? We’re not that unique or special.

I look around at similar sized clubs and even smaller clubs and see that there’s a decent chance things turn around in the short-term. Look how fast Arsenal have turned round after years of one manager and all the teams over the years who were relegation certs then stayed up or finished mid table.

Every club that underperforms like this, the manager is sacked and blame is squarely on his shoulder.

Why are we the only club where this doesn't happen? I see people cussing out every single player in our squad...they're not all garbage and it's pretty damn plain to see why they're playing poorly. The buck stops with the manager.

He has literally not one redeeming factor, nor is he showing potential or even respect for the club. Looking back on it he should have gone after Sevilla.

Our fans believe in “Stand by your manager” above everything else.

Our board gives stupid contracts to managers.

Combine those two and we get stuck with managers far longer than we should, unfortunately.

Got a feeling we will get a result at Pool and then lose 3 in a row afterwards.
I can imagine if we get an excellent result against Liverpool (0-0), Jose will be talking about it for months.

Yeah. I've just waste another night of sleep on this. Don't even want to imagine the plight of the traveling fans.

Yes and our fans lap it up.

It’s going to be a long Xmas period!

When a person is made to feel like crap, they will feel like crap. That's what Mourinho has managed to instill in most of these players by publicly saying that they are not good enough. Yet one defender in the summer would have changed everything, including the current playing staff.
Pogba looks lost in this Valencia game. Because he is a poor player or lacking massive confidence. To me it's the latter. This is the managers fault

Serial winner

Him and most of this team are the biggest bunch of serial losers. They don’t even have any shame at this point. Our glory days seem far far behind us.

Trying so hard to come 2nd in the group. We’re like Arsenal. But without the pretty football. Or actually getting 4th.

We’re not giving him his £20m plus guys. We are going to have to ride this joke of a season out.

Jesus this really is hoofball shite.

Honestly don't understand how any youngsters watching would follow United and that's such a travesty given what the club used to be like. It'd be like saying you support fecking Bolton back in 2004.

Is this prat still going to be in charge come Sunday night? His style of play is woeful. He'll go down in history as one of Uniteds most hated managers.I know I fecking do.

Was just thinking that if I was a dad trying to indoctrinate a child in supporting United I'd probably give up on real life football entirely at this point and just try to trick him/her into playing as United on FIFA or something.

Thinking about it, there are probably 10 & 11 year old Manchester United fans who only remember the Moyes, Van Gaal and Mourinho years. How fecking grim is that?

Players just walking about, watching Valencia play in front of them.

They don't care anymore. And that's because Mourinho is a complete failure.

There is no hope or optimism for the future while this man is in charge. It was so obvious how tonight’s game was going to go I’m not surprised. Jose needs to go asap. He has drained all my excitement and joy out of watching football.

At the start of almost every game I delude myself into thinking this is the game that we click into gear than the harsh reality of the situation presents itself. Valencia are having a field day with United tonight,as most teams have had for a long time now.

Its a shame how low our standards have dropped.

Quality control
His worshippers will be along any minute to tell us it's a dead rubber, though as it turns out it wasn't. This is how we play all the time so that excuse doesn't wash even if it were true. Honestly, I'd take utter humiliation at Anfield if it got rid of him.

Daley Blind strolling into the next round with Ajax after not getting a look in here speaks volumes.

Funny you say that, not one of my nieces and nephews are United fans and to be honest why would they be when other teams are playing such positive exciting football?
