He’s done. He can’t get us any further.
If we win against Everton we’ll get yet another ‘turning point’ thread though.

And each time it has been incrementally better so what's your point?
Lvg did better than moyes and mourinho did better than lvg
It feels like this club is on life support. We'll get a decent result now and then and it'll prolong the inevitable. What a sad state of affairs.
No. Jose is done. He did all those things in the past. The game has changed but he's stood still.
Some of our fans are as bad as the board. They are more interested in looking like superior fans than doing what's in the best interests of the club. And the board are doing nothing about it - the banners need to come out for anything to happen
Let’s just look away from what we see on the pitch:
10th in the League
Out of the title race and 7pts off top 4
Out of the League cup
Need to beat Valencia to have a good chance of staying in the Champions League
We all screamed for Van Gaal and Moyes to be sacked for less, why is Mourinho any different?
United have had 3 different managers under 3 different style of play, reason why the club and players are all over the place. City and Liverpool have had 2 consecutive attack minded managers, reason why they are where they are. Ed Woodward practically does not know what this club is about and what football the fans want, if he did, he would not have gone for LVG and Jose. Absolutely joke of a football club now.
Not sure about that. LVG left the team in the same place as Moyes did and Mourinho looks like he's on his way to do the same.
No he didn't we were 7th when moyes was sacked. Lvg got 4th and 5th and a fa cup. Mourinho has 2 cups a final and a 2nd place finish. We also have better squad than we did. Incremental improvements.
One of the top 3 highest paid coaches in the world right here
Moyes left us out of CL, with shite squad and need of rebuild.
LVG left us out of CL with shite squad and need of rebuild.
Mourinho is on his way to leave us out of CL and with a squad that has only Pogba, Martial and De Gea as standout players, and will also needs a rebuild.
I will cry tears of joy the day we sack him.
I will cry tears of joy the day we sack him.
But as I said all incrementally better than the other. So we are better than we were under moyes and lvg as results suggest. But incrementally better rather than leaps and bounds.
Wonder if Gary Neville still thinks Jose is the right man
Neville doesn't believe in sacking football managers. It's unethical, apparently.
Which is probably why he was so angry when Valencia sacked him for gross incompetence.
He isn't, you are in thread wondering if he should go.
I’d say the OT crowd seem to be behind him still.
didnt you hear the boos especially in the first half? and the attack attack chant?I’d say the OT crowd seem to be behind him still.
I think the fans are just sick of being shite now and are at the pure depression stage rather than rage stage.
That is not what he has said - he said he doesn't think it's his job to talk about managers being sacked. There is a difference
Compare to Real Madrid who are about to sack an under-performing manager after less than three months. The 'give managers time' mantra is starting to feel like a burden. Every failed manager gets 6 months longer than they deserve. Or maybe our board don't really know how to assess football and take 6 more months to realise the obvious
Don’t give up, apathy from fans will only prolong his tenure.I think i hate him but I'm not sure.
He is killing my spirit.
It beggars belief how anyone can defend Mourinho anymore.
