@SirAF In your opinion do you think what we are showing at the moment is good enough for a club our status?
Do you think Jose has done well with the resources available to him? Do you think getting a defender in the summer would have changed our approach to today's game?

The short answer is: no, of course not. The transfers I’m not even getting into. It’s not just a defender they need.

«embarrassment» however is just more of the same old hyperbole.

Why is he still here?

Emery is at Arsenal a few weeks and they've won 10 in a row and are scoring goals like that one last night.

Sarri the same and Chelsea are unbeaten and fighting for top spot.

This is his 3rd season, he's spent half a billion and 6th place looks about as much as we can realistically hope for.

Have you not read the memo? it’s Ed not Jose whose at fault for this shit on stick.

2 CL games in a row where we havn't scored a single goal at Old Trafford. 75m wasted on a striker thats dependant on good service and we play in a way which doesn't suit him at all he is worse than Heskey in Mourinhos system. Speaking of Mourinho aka the spineless gutless parrot who only does one thing good, talking about his past success. He is like milk that has gotten so stale that the entire house stinks of arse. Even someone like Emery is miles ahead of Mourinho these days he's finished and it's depressing to witness.

Love you but do you still think he should stay?

You are too kind!

The cop out answer is that if he stays then it means that things have turned upwards somewhat :p

Like I said, in my last post it’s the constant hyperbole that’s annoying. It’s an «embarrassment» to lose 1-0 and outplayed by one of the best teams in the world? *shrug*
What did you find funny?

Just read my already typed out answers, I’m on the bloody iPad!

I can't see how this football is acceptable in any way for a United. They are so poorly coached it's baffeling.

Ander Herrera won POTY mainly playing as DM, so what does he do, he goes and gets Matic. The money could have been spent better on a RW.

I’m hugely surprised that a defensive coach like Mourinho hasn’t gone with a double pivot of Matic and Herrera to then give either a Pogba, Mata or Lingard the license to get forward.

I have some fingers for Jose too.

He is admitting that without Fellaini being there he could not make any changes. He has just said that in his press conference. God help us.

Man for man we're miles away from Juve, that I can't totally blame on Jose. He's spent a ton, but we've got so much shite that still needs replacing (even if he's bought a lot of tumescent players himself).

It's just very deflating how far away we are.

No smug Mourinho fan boy love in's tonight after a pathetically inept performance that made us look like children being schooled off the park? Shocking, because I mean we had a good 20 minutes vs Chelsea and all that. He needs to get gone, crap tactics again tonight, no subs, it was woefully blunt. What more has to be done to convince people he isn't the person we should have in charge of this club, irrespective of who comes in to replace him, he should not be here managing this team, if you can honestly call it managing at this point because I fail to see what we actually do beyond Long Ball hit and hopes and shit crosses into the box.

@SirAF, it is kind of embarrassing to be honest and it reflects badly on Mourinho that his team look like strangers that are poorly coached.

He is admitting that without Fellaini being there he could not make any changes. He has just said that in his press conference. God help us.
I’m not the proponent of any kind of violence but this guy make me want to punch him so hard, loathe him.

feck him off. He's made our squad slightly better than when he came. He's not worth giving any more funds.

Smalling and Lindelof played reasonably well tonight. His crap centreback bullshit won't wash anymore.

feck him off and get the best person available now. A good manager can make something of this season. Mourinho can't.

Mourinho or not, the players we have are either very raw or very limited up top. Anyone thinking they were a match for Dybala, Ronaldo & Co. are kidding themselves.

Yeah maybe he shouldn't have said it but it's sort of obvious. Not really a Jose thing but our quality of attack is very substandard for the ambitions our fans have.

How fickle are some of our fans though? The 5% who let two halves of football against Newcastle and Chelsea change their mind and wanted to keep Mou in.
I was just wondering about this....

The fact is, Mourinho will never change. We need to get rid. No more contract extensions.

The most damning thing is, he would have made a difference for us, its ugly, but he's one of the few game changers we have, even if its an ugly ugly ugly change.
Can't stand Fellaini but Id take him any day over Lukaku now.

Even he miraculously wins the Epl or ucl, there is no coming back from this.

This is not man utd identity. He has failed to evolve and he has screwed it up .

But guys, we scraped a home win against an utterly pathetic Newcastle. He deserves at least another season because of that.

Ander Herrera won POTY mainly playing as DM, so what does he do, he goes and gets Matic. The money could have been spent better on a RW.

And his best position is as an AM.

but Mourinho has hardly used him.

I can start on a rant...but I wont.

Woodward wont fire him until we are out of the cups and officially out of the top 4.

At this rate it will be in early Spring. [EDIT: perhaps January :( ]

Someone mentioned Jardim. If not Mckenna and Carrick.

This is torture.

Have accepted the season is a write off until board can sack him once he fails to qualify for champions league or things get so bad his position is untenable.

The lack of subs, three finger salute and comments after game are petty and pathetic but that’s Mourinho. I don’t see how anyone can argue we would be worse off with anyone else in charge the whole team is a shambles.

We are terribly coached. There are teams with lesser players who look more co-ordinated than we do. How do you explain that? For all the money Jose's being paid, it's disgraceful how under-coached our players look.

Lets be honest, 95% of football managers wouldn't have our team tonight playing that Juventus team and only losing 1-0. The result actually reflects quite well because our players are fecking awful.
