I still think that it won't happen until March or April.

Not when his tactics are shite. We are brats for wanting a manager out who's taken us to midtable and who was bailed out by 2 players he railed against?

You can support him of course. Don't equate it to supporting the club.

Taken us to mistablen . It’s October FFS. That post is the definition of spoilt.

Imagine being swayed because we just about beat one of the very worst teams in the league. Fickle fairies.

It is simple, I want him to stay except if the dressing room has given up on him. I thought they have but based on today, I am not sure that that is the case.

Great comeback as players were allowed to take the shackles off. We do have the players to play the attacking game when allowed. Delighted with the 3 points and 2nd half display especially 70 mins on however it will be back to basics against Chelsea.

Poor Mourinho thinks he's being hunted in his post-match interview.

I really don't know what credit to give him for this result. Maybe the McTominay change at half time, but it's something that could have been avoided a lot sooner.

Supporting them in bad times is more important. They are struggling on the pitch, Jose is struggling to fix it. Support them. That’s what supporters are. I’m sick of the moaning on here. Yes things could be better but support them, including the manager.

You're moaning about people moaning.. :wenger:

I literally believe that Jose told them at half time that he is leaving.. so they put out a last show for him

We were 2-0 down due to Jose & his use of certain players & tactics.

We were 3-0 due to the players playing purely at free will with players that are less appreciated by Jose.

The only way he should be gone after this game... is if management told them... we will fire Jose immediately if you come back and win the match.
If they didn't say that, I'd say the players have spoken.

Watch out, you might be called fickle fairy by people who can't comprehend a change of opinion based on new evidence.

There are a lot of heartbroken people on here today. The club briefed the press with a tester yesterday, saying he'd be sacked. We start the game shellshocked and then go on to pull out that 2nd half performance. Woodward looking on with a sour face.

Heartbroken is right. They live in the Football Manager virtual reality. Real supporters stick with it.

If he has won an extra couple of weeks it’s still inevitable he’s going before the end of the season, the football isn’t going to get any better

The problem is we aren't going to be able to keep doing this every game. The players played on emotion with zero tactics in the 2nd half. Newcastle got blown away from the pressure, not from a great tactical/team performance.

Mourinho can't get that out of the team, we can't rely on going 2-0 down and winning every game.

Top Red alert.

Yea, your so right - the solution is always endless patience even when the titanic is literally sinking under your feet. By year 7 I'm sure Moyes would have turned it around

If anyone thinks we can win games with tactics employed a quality opposition they've just seen 20 minutes of football and basing their opinion on a very short timeline.

I never said I was, but the constant agenda against managers has to stop.
You're in the thread that talks about whether he should stay or go, why do you expect that topic won't be mentioned, even after today. Mourinho made some terrible decisions that makes his eventual sacking (probably at the end of the season) very understandable

Still needs to leave. Barely scraping out a win at home against the worst team in the league who had been 2D 8L in their last 10 games is not something that should save him at this point, especially with his team selection and the team's horrible performance in the first half.

We have a two week break now to restructure the club including replacing the manager. It's up to the board to be decisive.

That post match interview is horrific. His completely lost the plot

1st Season
Mourinho is the first ever Utd manager to win a trophy in first season
Actually wins 2 trophies
-League Cup
-Europa League
Also gets a club record for the longest unbeaten run

2nd Season
Premier League Runner up. Runner up to a club backed by billions in Oil money. Ahead of the press darling Pochetino's Spurs, Klopps Liverpool and Chelsea
FA Cup Runner Up

Summer break
-Mournino not backed by Board

2018/2019 season
-players acting like spoilt kids

=Mourinho on verge of sack
=completely ridiculous

We will continue to underperform if the board keep pandering to overpaid spoilt players.
Hey don't be objective here.

I’m telling the moaners to Feck right off and let the rest of us enjoy the win
You do realise that you decided to go into a thread discussing whether Mourinho should leave or not (with the vote massively swaying in favour that he should)? If you wanted to avoid the moaners, you could have done so quite easily without telling people to feck off.

I’m telling the moaners to Feck right off and let the rest of us enjoy the win

Your now moaning about people's moaning about your moaning about people's moaning. A valuable contribution to the debate

Personally, I'm gonna enjoy this turnaround tonight but nothing has changed, there are far more causes of concern than the opposite. I voted once and will never change it.

I’m in the thread arguing he should stay

Still won't make December imo.

Look at your fixtures in October and November, many will be draws at best unless defensive excellence is found from somewhere.
