Still have to go. We are expected to beat Newcastle easily anyway with or without mourinho

Strange feeling. Delighted we turned it around and won but gutted as this means we'll prolong with him even longer.

I don't see any positives from this game to keep him, we just had to throw the kitchen sink at a team that hasn't won a game all season. We just about scrapped through at home.

Everybody is no doubt feeling high and emotional right now but keeping Jose is the wrong move.

This was another Man Cityesque comeback. It was almost as if Woodward came in half time and told the players - fine, we will let you get your way. Then they started playing.

This game highlights EXACTLY the problem. Get him the fecking defenders he asked for and whatever else he wanted on the wing or wherever. I have seen us have mares like that a number of times under SAF but we had class CB's we knew were having a blip but these are just unsalvagable.

Or let Martial have his freedom. That works too...

Anyone who's had their mind changed by that deserves another few years of crap football.

More evidence of why he should go. 70 minutes on when it was basically just go for it the guys showed they could play.

Yes because we can continue playing with Lukaku as a target man, Rashford as a RW, Martial as a RW whilst adding mata, sanchez Pogba, matic all on the same starting 11.

Never going to happen. We gave up on defending as a team with players like martial & mata, Pogba focusing on attacking.

Adding one extra defender doesn't stop the unnecessary work that Jose makes us do defensively.

Martial made to fall back deep on the LW consistently is nothing related to alderweireld.

Will all you wanting Josè gone please just Feck Off and leave the rest of us to actually support the team.
I support the team and want him gone. What we saw tonight was the shackles off, which we'll never get under him.

Don't get it. What's the relation between wanting Mourinho out and supporting the team? This isn't Mourinho FC, it's Manchester United FC. We can support the team and enjoy their win without wanting the manager to stay on.

There's some fickle fans. Changing votes on 20 Minutes of football. Look at the bigger picture.

We all want United to win. It's not just you.
Most just think without Jose is the best way to do that.

Today was serious out of jail material, and what we can do when the shackles are off.
Imagine playing with that attacking style every week. Mouth watering prospect isn't it.

We'll support the team just fine, but i'd rather enjoy supporting us too.

Josè is the manager. Support him. Stop being such spoilt brats.

Massive congratulations to Mourinho for delivering a tight win at home to a relegation candidate.

Still needs to go.

I hope he turns around for the good of our club of course.

But, the game showed more of how shit his 'normal' football is rather the result reflected on it.

Pretty much. A comeback inspired by players he has worked hard to drive out of the club is not a good way to justify keeping him around

We'll support the team just fine, but i'd rather enjoy supporting us too.

Supporting them in bad times is more important. They are struggling on the pitch, Jose is struggling to fix it. Support them. That’s what supporters are. I’m sick of the moaning on here. Yes things could be better but support them, including the manager.

Bought himself some time. Now I hope he starts appreciating the players he loves so much shitting on. They pulled their socks out to get that win.

Your right. He should be allowed to stay as manager and complete his mission to drive Pogba and Martial out of the club, that will lead to many more wins like this.

Oh wait....

There are a lot of heartbroken people on here today. The club briefed the press with a tester yesterday, saying he'd be sacked. We start the game shellshocked and then go on to pull out that 2nd half performance. Woodward looking on with a sour face.

Mourinho can't fix this, that's the point. He's the one who's got us to this position ffs! I think you've had too many Guinness :wenger:

Not when his tactics are shite. We are brats for wanting a manager out who's taken us to midtable and who was bailed out by 2 players he railed against?

You can support him of course. Don't equate it to supporting the club.

I'll give him a stay of execution. Let's see if this result sorts our confidence out and convinces him to play with a bit more freedom. Even Ferguson needed a landmark victory to turn things around back in the day.

If its back to playing scared in the next match, cut him loose.

Still has to go for me.
The players' pride were at stake and nothing left to lose. I can't trust him to just let them loose in the rest of the games and then we're back to square one again.

And for the record he still needs to go. That much is still obvious

Still has to go.This game is an indictment on his tactics and the way he sets the team up.We can play good football with an attacking coach. The team is not as bad as Mou's tactics in making it seem.

Still needs to leave - his type of football is not suited to us. We need to play on the front foot all time not just when we go a goal down.

Every issue was no coordination, organisation or nouse or basic fecking defending and heading in the CB position and no distribution from there either. Alderweireld or whoever.

there is another thread for that, here is the thread to talk about our translator "manager".
