So happy to see Aldo win impressively again. Moicano and Stephens, both inside the distance, is a good winning streak, and he had more success in losing efforts versus Holloway than Ortega did imo. He's really undersized for the division now, but if Holloway moved up in weight he'd have an excellent chance of regaining the belt, although it doesn't seem like he wants to stay with the UFC for long enough to make that happen.
Jonny Walker is very interesting. Hopefully they don't rush him.
Just catching up on this now and I’m watching this Souza vs Frota and Frota looks like she is 2 weight divisions above her. Heard she missed weight by 7lbs but even then.

Yup. My BJJ coach has trained with him and says he'll go quite far and light up the division. His wrestling is apparently decent too and is currently a purple belt. Interesting times in the 205 division.

I think part of the problem for him is no one is that bothered about him to be honest.
Look at that video views it has 15k which is pretty poor for someone who prety much does everything he can to get attention. People like Ben Askren and Adesanya for example get 100k plus.
For him to remain relevant he needs to fight pretty soon, I do think he should of got the next title shot (I'm not bothered he didn't to be honest) but I don't think he has enough pull to sit out and people are desperate for that fight really, the division will go on fine without him.
The main issue I have with Colby is that his schtick is so fake. I mean the heel act nearly always is but most fighters who go that route either do a better job of hiding it or at least do it in a more interesting way. Whereas Colby's thing is a sub-par one note gimmick at this point.

Israel Adesanya v Anderson Silva. Got the 'style bender' to get this done in emphatic style. Too long, too good for this version if Silva to handle.

DC is a likeably unlikeable prick most of the times. He chats shit and is cheesy but at the same time, has had a super tough life and seems grounded in his personal life and when you see him out of promotion.
It's just that he's usually linked with Bones, who is one of the biggest feck ups on the roster
DC seems a good guy. I think he knows crowds will boo him whatever so he kind of embraces being the bad guy some what. I don't think it's personal with Stipe I just don't think he has many fights left and is being pretty honest about it. He's not really a huge draw on his own so is probably trying to generate interest for Jones or Brock who are the only 2 people I reckon he'd fight now.
