He's suspended until July so he wouldn't be fighting until September or October anyway. If his mates got banned for two years i doubt he would say the same.

I don't think it was just about that incident though. The commission also said that they need to take an active role in the conduct of fighters at press conferences and that fines will be handed out for what fighters say as well as do. In other words they weren't happy with the way Mcgregor carried himself in the lead up to the fight.
Can't he get his suspension reduced to six months by participating in an anti-bullying campaign or something? If so he could be available from April like McGregor but it'll be interesting to see if he completes the anti-bullying stuff to get the reduction and then not fight while his teammates are suspended anyway.

Khabib won't fight in may due to Ramadhan so if he doesn't do the anti bullying thing, he won't fight again until the end of summer earliest

That's literally what happened. The first guy in ran past Conor, to check on the guy Conor punched on the cage, then came back and he and conor swung at each other.
