Anyone know how many UFC champs have won their belt back after having lost it?

Off the top of my head: Randy Couture, GSP, Dillashaw,Tym Silvia, Cain Velasquez, Matt Hughes. Also Dominick Cruz if you consider that he was basically out for four years from late 2011-early 2016 (Had one fight in 2014 but soon got the same injury again) and beat TJ to be champ again. Interesting note: Nobody has EVER won the UFC lightweight or middleweight belts back!

Interesting, thanks.

Khabib's dad saying a McGregor rematch could take place in a boxing ring and not MMA.

Oh yeah, posted it cause it's hilarious.

Its the Conor effect in action. Everyone who fights Conor thinks they suddenly have the right to cash in with either the UFC or now in boxing.

Khabib is making himself look a dick though.

Harping on about legacy etc before the fight and now calling out Mayweather and wanting to box. Funny really

Chael posted a few quite funny tweets about this the other day (more on his page)

The whole fight is scummy and Tito getting some weird revenge by beating up an over the hill Liddell. But Chael is just as bad as he'll clearly try cash in on fighting them both after this

Blades vs Ngannou 2 current live. Finish work at 12 so should be able to get home in time to catch the fight. Every chance it's a stinker but Ngannou surely has to come out with a point to prove after his last 2 fights. Hùge fight for both men.

Overeem fighting too.

That's some crazy power, if it was a clean hit he'd probably still be out.

Great for Ngannou after so many people turned on him on the back of two losses (and fair play the Lewis fight was an absolute stinker). Dude is still a legit contender with the power he has.

You would’ve thought Blaydes would’ve prepared to deal with Ngannou’s punching during his camp by staying out of range, at least in the beginning til he gassed a bit. Oh well....

Glad that finished because I was going out to lunch with the wife and was only able to watch the first round of the main event!

One of the easiest betting wins of my life. Ngannou had 2 bad results due to mental pressure. However he'd already easily beaten Blaydes before. He was never going to be worried about beating him again and in fact had more confidence. He's a force to be reckoned with when his head is in the right place. Blaydes is a decent heavyweight but doesn't have the same kind of potential.

Liddell looked fecked coming in there, could barely walk.

Lawler vs Winn should be good but after the pre lims and that first main event card fight not sure I'll be able to stay awake through the rest up to that

Was wondering what gave Benn and Eubanks the idea of coming out retirement for another match. Thought it be something to do with their sons. But no, TIL Liddell and Ortiz are having their 3rd fight.

I thought Blaydes was gonna win, but Ngannou by KO/TKO was paying crazy good so I'm very happy with the result.

Ngannou is back! feck yeah! The HW division is so much better with a confident Ngannou.

Dos Santos, Miocic or Volkov would be all good fights next.

holy shit, gonna be a good one. The last Stylebender gonna beat that old man's ass big time.

Is this some kind of title shot eliminator?
