what a first round. Frevola beating the crap out of Vannata so far.

what a fight! second round all Vannata. Almost took Frevola out.

3rd round winner takes it all.

Well, no winner after all. Majority draw. I have to say i agree. FOTN so far.

Vannata always putting good shows. He has won Bonus money on 4 of his previous 5 UFC fights.

Great fight.

Such a tough one for Weidman, he looked sharp but lost all his power after round one it seemed.

Jacare on the other hand just kept his pace and power throughout, an absolute battering ram.

Exactly how Cormier called it.

Lewis is an entertaining guy but he shouldn't be fighting for the title. Stipe is the one that deserved his rematch.

When you look at Weidman's record on paper it's a bit worrying. 1-4 in his last 5. That doesn't really tell the full story though. He's become a bit underrated IMO. It's not as if he's stinking up the joint or getting absolutely outclassed in these fights. All losses to fighters that are arguably in the top 5 in the world too or around there. The Rockhold fight was actually close and competitive until he got caught and then beaten down. Romero was close too, a round a piece going into the third before he got caught with the crazy knee. The Mousasi fight he was arguably winning until the knees that stopped him. And very similar last night, I probably had him winning that fight until he got caught. And that's the story with Weidman in all of those losses, he just has a habit of eventually getting caught and brutally finished...arguably up on the scorecards in almost all of those fights bar possibly Rockhold. Very talented fighter that just doesn't have boring fights anymore. I thought he looked crisp and sharp last night. Sadly just has a habit of allowing himself to get caught.

Great performance from DC again, he just makes it look so easy at times. Man handling Lewis like that was ridiculous. I imagine it's probably Brock next but let's be real, he wants to beat Jones 100% and if Jones beats Gus, there's no doubt the UFC will be desperate to put on a fight with those two. It sells on it's own because of the history but you then potentially have the LHW/HW champion in DC and the 'LHW' champion in Jones, it'd be huge. I think DC has the balls to risk it all as his final fight. It either ends his career in heartbreak losing to Jones again or he finally overcomes his biggest rival, beats Jones and retires with both titles and rides off into the sunset. The story is perfect for that fight, if Jones doesn't do anything stupid I don't see how it doesn't happen (of course granted Jones can beat Gus and DC beats Lesnar if that happens, Jones/Gus should hopefully be awesome).

Stipe was just as easy.
Don’t think it would be second time around. For me there was an element of neglecting the wrestler’s striking ability, much like Khabib-Conor

Stipe was a dominant champion and should have got a shot straight away again

There a bit quick to disregard former champions if they’re not marketable, let DJ go now he has no belt, much more money in letting McGregor do what he wanted after Aldo, binned off Stipe, Woodley won’t get a rematch if he loses the belt to someone.

Finally the old man is back.

Brilliant! I love Lineker too, but if Cruz is anywhere near his best this looks like a good style match up for him, where he can just use his speed and movement to pick off a relatively flat-footed opponent. If he's not close to his best his chin might get seriously tested though.

My thoughts too. Cruz should be able to dance around Lineker, making him punch the air. If he can't though, gonna be interesting. I wouldn't mind if Lineker knocks Cruz out. :D

fecking shame about Borrachinha getting injured. I hope Romero gets a good replacement. (He wants Anderson Silva)

Only have to watch how Dillashaw utterly dominated Lineker to get an idea how this should turn out.
