Sad ending for Brad Pickett

He has been done a good two years at this stage but didn't want to see him go out like that. He was winning the fight

Think he is the real deal

England have some big names at the moment, hope UFC can promote them so they have their own McGregor type and bring the sport to similar levels as in Ireland at the moment

Would be surprised if it'll be gus

Did you not see him standing beside him just now?

Yep. Although I don't know if that somehow prevents them from competing against one another. Gus is still imo a contender for next in line as he's the only one who has done serious damage to both Jones and Cormier. He fights Glover at the end of May so the timing may not be right for Manuwa. I'd imagine Dana will find himself under a bit of pressure as Jones will almost certainly get the winner of DC/Rumble 2.

Surprised they let Bader go it's such a shallow division. Not that he's some kind of monster but he would of been a decent person to give a title fight to to keep the divison some what interesting.

DC, Glover and Manuwa are all late 30s. I can't really see DC sticking round much longer personally (pure speculation but he's had a few injuries, I reckon he fights Rumble and Jones again and is done.) Really is the weakest division in the UFC these days.

Its going to happen more and more

Good for them, not good for me as Bellator do not have a proper TV deal over this part of the world

Really hope they dont get Joe Duffy

The Bellator thing is weird over here. Hopefully they got it sorted soon as it's on sometimes live then others it's a few days behind...then it's occasionally on different channels! Odd really. The UK and Ireland is a growing market and you'd think they would take advantage of it.

especially seeing as they have had events in England and Dublin

They also have some top talents from this part of the world too. You would think they would be all over it

It shows a lot when the UFC are letting fighters like Krylov, Bader, Larkin and Horiguchi go and are hard-balling Duffy, Cirkunov etc... yet they keep Sage and Punk around...

I could see myself losing interest if the UFC keep going down this route as well as their complete disregard of fighter rankings in favour of money fights...

Yeah hopefully they announce some kind of stable TV Deal soon. It's usually on Spike on a delay can't see why they don't just put it on there or Channel 5 live. Hardly like there's much else decent stuff on the channels!

I agree with the sentiment they are letting some good names go but in fairness Sage is 10-2 though and unbeaten at LW still so it's hardly like he's absolute shite. Bellator is the home of money fights to an extent as well. They've got Chael Sonnen vs. Wanderlei Silva headlining their MSG card for example.

 So bummed I can't watch this one live because I'm really looking forward to it. I hope Rumble destroys DC, he's a fecking scary man.

I read this morning that Cormier was out of the fight due to injury, I spent a good few hours raging about it before I realised what date it was

That Pimblett kid is terrible - how the hell has he got so far with so much hype?

He's not terrible but I think he's started to believe all the hype.

His best skills are grappling get he's felt he needs to prove himself on his feet. Play to your strengths.

Its been ages since a UFC event. Can't really feel the hype for this one even though the main fight is something i previously looked forward to. Can't quite shake the suspicion that someone will pull out.
