Good fight for this, bit of a tough comeback for Weidman though thought they might of built him up a bit against easier opponents. Bisping is meant to be out injured til May though so they may want to get a few contenders in place for his comeback.

holy crap, great fight.

Weidman is one brave man. Big chances he gonna be 0-3.

Mousasi is on a great streak and more aggressive than ever. He might made look Weidman like Rhonda if they keep the fight standing.

I'll be rooting for Chris on this one.

I think there is an extremely high chance Conor would get disqualified in a boxing contest with Mayweather.

Only way he doesn't is if he keeps telling himself how much $$$ he is being paid for being absolutely humiliated for as long as Floyd wants to toy with him.

Pride and frustration will get the better of him and that will be the disqualification as he lashes out with an illegal move.

It would take an amazing amount of discipline for him to restrain himself once he realises he can't land a single hit on one of the greatest boxers of all time.

One would think it's all farcical hype that won't be sanctioned, but once the mind-boggling amounts of money the fight would make are clear, who knows.
Came in here to post exactly the same and the first post I saw coming in here was yours. Weird.

Is your name Tyler Durden by any chance?

 does that make me the mental one or you? Am I figment of your imagination, or you mine?

Weidman really doesn't sem to be arsed who he fights really! Fair fecks to him always fights the best. I like them both but hope Weidman wins personally.

He was doing well against Romero before the knee and did have his moments vs. Rockhold as well, hopefuly confidence isn't an issue.

Oh, I like this. I'll be pulling for Mousasi here and I would love to see him stop Weidman but it'll be a long night if Weidman gets his wrestling going.

I imagine Bisping will be hoping for a Weidman win.

This is really make or break for Weidman. He will be massively fecked if he loses 3 in row. Conversely, if Gegard wins there will be a lot of pressure for him to get a belt shot.

I think he would still be 3rd in line after Gay Jesus and Jacare (if he beats Rockhold).

Nevermind if Anderson Silva wins his next fight. He might just leapfrog everybody (if it's up to Bisping).

No doubt, the the farcical nightmare of Bisping being the champ will drag on endlessly.

Does anyone know if Bellator is on UK TV this weekend? It's sometimes on C5 and sometimes on Spike but can't see it on either channel?

Don't think it's being shown over here. If it is then it's likely on a week delay or more mate.

Ah gutted wouldn't of minded watching that. Chael in the press conference got me interested mainly to be honst! No worries cheers though. Sure will find somewhere online the next day.

Its a joke they dont have any proper TV deal over this part of the world

They have had shows in Dublin and the UK. So surely it would be in their best interest

Ortiz is probably my most disliked fighter ever (Koscheck close too) so hoping Sonnen beats him. Daley/Ward should be good too.

It's so ridiculous but I found Ferguson screaming "Wooooo!" and clearly scaring the shit out of Dana for a second to be absolutely hilarious, it's quite sad that I played it back about 5 times

Those two fights are going to be awesome.

It's ridiculous really. They show MVP when he fights normally and a couple others but just seem to pick and choose. I doubt Spike TV is showing anything better at 2am in the morning either!

Yeah I'm not a fan of Ortiz really. Loved Sonnen making him look like a dick in the press conference (and his line about Jenna Jameson was hilarious even if it was to far)

Haha what is Ferguson wearing?!? 209 should be a great card though. Them 2 fights, Overeem vs Hunt and Vanatta vs. Teymur should all be interesting fights.

Excited to see Vannata again. I caught his fight with Ferguson again the other day and it's crazy how close he was to winning that fight, that first round was mental.

The chael tito fight a very weak ending. Kind off like sage vs barberena. Difference is sage is inexperienced kid...

I'm worried about Khabib. He's already said he won't give Conor an immediate rematch even though the still has to beat Tony and then Conor himself for the rematch to even come into the equation.
A bit rich too considering he was demanding a shot after beating less top 5 lw than Conor actually has.

Daley's a savage. Knocked some guy into the middle of next week with an uppercut from hell in his last fight. I wonder if there's any chance at all of the new UFC owners cutting him some slack?

Doubtful for me, he obviously ended on really bad terms. His excuse mde it worse "didn't hear the bell" despite the fight clearly being over and on top of that I dunno how he'd do in the UFC anyway. He'd lose to all the Top 5 welterweights for me and arguably all the Top 10. He's calling out both Rory and Benson Henderson for Bellator and both of them would beat him for me!

Bit of suspicion from people on the Chael fight I don't think it was a fix personally he's lost plenty of times in the past via submission. Equally doubt Bellator are to happy about it considering Tito is retiring and Chael is sticking around and assumably he's on a good deal.

Anyone that hasn't seen Daley's brutal KO of Ward needs to see it.
*Turn the volume down*

I haven't watched a lot of Bellator over the last few years but it was actually a decent enough card.

Anyone getting tickets for UFC London? What does the card look like ?
Very average so far, although they haven't announced main event. The only fighters that I even remotely care about in the event are Tom Breese, Amirkhani and an over-the-hill Brad Picket.

Unless they book a killer main event, they can feck off.

I feel that's a little harsh. Looks more or less what you'd expect a Euro fight night card to be; most of the local talent and probably a decent main event. My guess for main event would be a Joanna title fight, not sure who else they've got to headline a Euro fight night card right now. Gustafsson maybe if he is back or Gunnar Nelson at a real push.

Leon Edwards beat Tumenov in his last fight and he's fighting a real good prospect on this card, winner could break into the Welterweight rankings. You've also got Manuwa on there who always brings the violence, Joe Duffy and a few other local prospects who it's nice to keep an eye on. Obviously not a PPV quality card but about right for what it is I'd say.

You are right about Manuwa and Duffy, I forgot they were on the card but I disagree that it's what if expect from Euro fight card. I don't want to spend big (and I'm sure it will cost a bomb) to see a card where the biggest star is Manuwa. This is why it all hinges on the main event. I'm surprised Ross Pearson not on it. I was hoping for either Overeem or Moustachi, but they got fights lined up... Would have loved to see Daley...

The choke wasn't the suspicious part. Chael has Tito is a darce choke and Tito clearly taps for him to release it which he does. He then allows Tito to get full mount, making no effort with his legs to prevent it. I can't see why on earth the fight would be fixed, but there is no way of explaining simply releasing the choke after it very much appearing that Tito let him know it was too tight. Chaels been submitted plently of time, but would an elite level wrestler really let an opponent get full mount without even trying to get him leg in between, which he easily could. No one can figure out the purpose of the fight being a work, but that fight wasn't real.

Yeah, I saw the fight the next day and thought immediately afterwards that it seemed fishy. I haven't rewatched it, but I saw a clear single tap and thought it was a tap out, but usually they tap a few times and when it carried on, just brushed it off. When the fight ended though, it just didn't seem like a real ending. Post-fight he didn't seem that bothered he'd lost? Dunno.

Fair enough, each to their own I suppose. Obviously the other argument is Bellator/Tito didn't know about it and Chael was in on it on his own (although if that was the case Tito would have no reason to "tap.")

There's arguments for it I agree I just don't think it was a fix. I agree more with the sentiments of Dan HArdy on MMA Hour the other day saying CHael has basically being juicing his whole career until this fight and simply gave up to easily and doesn't fancy it any more.

I think he probably was bothered, a lot of people have that reaction when they're choked though, they seem disappointed and pissed off with themselves that it's happened. Like Shogun vs. Chael or Diaz vs. McGregor 1 they were both pretty humble.

210 potentially looking a good card even with only 2 fights accounced...

I'll be looking forward to this one once they are in the cage though! Fully expect DC to get injured...

I ended up getting 3 tickets for £45 each, I wasn't prepared to pay anymore for what I've seen on the card but it will be my first UFC event. I'm hoping a lot of the English talent will be out to make a name for themselves and put on a show.

 Agreed. I won't believe this is happening til both fighters actually walk out to the Octagon.

Hopefully Jones will fight the winner and the division will be united again.

I have a feeling DC will get injured when they touch gloves

Anyone heading to UFC London?

Edit: Never mind, there's only £200 tickets left
