Late stoppage there. Referee should have been right in after his head bounced off the mat.

Edit: Actually not quite as bad as it originally looked. Good showing from Cannonier.

Bit disappointed in Tybura but UFC debuts can often bring out average performances. Hopefully he'll look improved if we see him back. He was outmuscled up against the fence for the most part and couldn't get off it. Hopefully the other HW fights are a bit more exciting. This next one should be good both fighters are rated as good prospects.

That Ngannou is one scary dude. His improvement in defensive wrestling from his debut is staggering. If he keeps up at that rate then he could easily go all the way to the top.

I'm always a bit dubious of guys that are jacked like that. They are either not the best fighters or if they are, the sheer amount of muscle mass results in them getting gassed quickly against any decent opponent.

He'd be alright in the heavyweight division though because most fights aren't going the distance.

He was stunned with the first punch thrown tonight, that's something he should definitely worry about.

So who has everyone got for the main event? Big Ben has been on a tear, but I think with this particular matchup I could see JDS putting him away.

Have to go with Big Ben with the form he's in, I think he'd earned a title shot even before this fight.

But it is the heavyweight division and anyone can knock out anyone.

JDS has come in with a smart gameplan. Working that big fat bod. Rothwell always looks like he could land a killing blow anytime he lunges forward though.
