You're allowed to be a pound over, you can fight for the title at 126 in flyweight.

Very excited to see Aldo and Barao on the same card, as they're among my favorites of all time, along with Couture and Anderson Silva.

Since when? For title fight you have to be the exact weight or less, there is no 1 lb over rule allowed in place, so Lineker hasn't actually proven he can make the weight needed. What I find strange is the fact that even in the Flyweight division he's pretty small (5'3) and he's still struggling. Weird.

Love Aldo as well!

I am rooting for a Faber win. Cool guy and I think he deserves it, but Barao is beastly. Can't wait to see Overeem and Mir either.

Well, I've been watching old MMA fights, maybe they've changed the rules, but Joe has said before that you can be a pound over, and didn't mention that wasn't allowed for title fights. But maybe he's never mentioned it for a title fight because it isn't allowed there, and thus no one was ever over for it to come up.

But as of say 5 years ago you could be a pound over, anyway. Would seem weird if they changed it.

Anyway, if he can get to 126 I don't doubt he can get to 125 if he needs to. He missed the weight last time by some ridiculous amount.

I would really like to see Overeem max out his potential, he could be an absolute killer if he just cut out the sloppiness and clowning.

Great card, will be watching this tonight if there's a good stream. I think there will be a few very close fights.

Wish the scoring system would be different so we could see more draws. Who invented it anyway? It's absolutely retarded.

If you have 3 rounds that are pretty even, it's impossible to have a draw. The only way you can have a draw is when one guy completely annihilates his opponent for a round.

Retarded.

Surely Overeem cannot afford to lose another fight? Mir doesn't like getting hit so he might actually take this one.

Can't see past Barao and Aldo in the co-main.

I hope Overeem doesn't get cut if he loses though because he's fun to watch either way, whether he's getting knocked out or not and because the HW division is already weak.
Agreed, I love his kickboxing style too. Can see him lose tonight though.

Well, Dana's often complaining about certain fighters *cough*big country*cough* and their styles lacking entertainment, so hopefully he keeps Overeem about regardless.

I really think Overroid on his day, could beat any of the HW, including JDS and Cain. That is the weird thing considering his record.

Hester, Watson, Lineker and Faber is my quad bet for tonight, had to throw in a risk or two to fire the odds up a bit.

19/1.
