Went to bed last night before Hunt/Silva and that was fecking incredible.. One of the best fights I've seen
I thought Mark won that but no complaints with a draw, no loser in that ring.

That was some fight between Hunt and Bigfoot. Epic last couple of rounds. I thought Hunt just shaded it too (probably would've stopped him in the last round if the ref didn't break for the cut) but what a scrap. They both got paid winners cheques and bonuses apparently so no real loser at all.
Great to see Shogun back with a bang too. Good job he missed with that follow up punch when Te Huna was out. I think he was trying to put his head through the canvas.

Was a really good card overall to cap off what's probably going to be an immense December for the UFC. Hunt/Bigfoot is probably the best Heavyweight fight I've ever seen, certainly when you take into account how much damage they both took and how even the fight was. Personally I had Bigfoot just winning by the slightest of margins but a draw is without a doubt the right result looking at it now. Rematch? If they want to put themselves through that again of course. You know with these two guys that either somebodies getting brutally knocked out or they're having an absolute war.

I wouldn't want to put Bigfoot and Hunt through another battle against each other just yet. The heavyweight division needs some juice, it looks like no one will compete with Cain for a long time, so this gives both fighters a real boost. I would send them both up the rankings ladder and give them the toughest fight you think they can win (aka no Junior or Cain), if I was Dana White. Maybe stick another match for each in there, and then let them rematch to face Cain (since someone has to eventually).
Wouldn't mind seeing Hunt v Overeem in the UFC. That would probably be enough to send Overeem packing.

Would you rather see a Gustavsson rematch or Jones vs Cormier? I don't think Jones should fight anyone else before fighting the Swede again.
I think Gustavsson deserves the immediate rematch fo sho. Likewise I can't imagine anyone other than Hendricks fighting GSP next if he decides to carry on fighting. I'm not really a fan of people just dropping into another weight class and getting an immediate title shot. Isn't Jones v Texeira lined up though?
Agree 100% with your post, Philip would prefer the Teixeira fight but that's only because he's a wet little fangirl for him. Gustafsson deserves the rematch.
If Barnett beats Browne, which I think he will, then I'd put him against Cain. The only other option for Cain would be Werdum. It'll surely be him or Barnett fighting for the title next. I'm hoping for Barnett, I still think he poses a good threat.

I'm an Evans fan but that one with Cormier...really not confident going into that one. Evans will need to be at his absolute old school best, though the speed will favor him here.

Good little read that cheers Phil. Lebanner was the Jimmy White/Ivan Lendl of K-1. Beat anyone on his day but could never put the 3 fights in one night together to take the title.
K-1 was the shiz back in the day it really was. So many great fighters and rivalries.... Hoost, Aerts, Hug, Cro-Cop, LeBanner, Sefo, Bernardo, Hunt, Greco, Filho ... then those guys got old and the likes of Semmy Schilt & Bob Sapp came along and turned it into a circus.
That makes almost too much sense.....
