Predictions

Junior dos Santos vs Frank Mir
Cain Velasquez vs Antonio Silva
Roy Nelson vs Dave Herman
Stipe Miočić vs Shane del Rosario
Stefan Struve vs Lavar Johnson

^It was poor I thought(expected it to be)

Dos Santos simply too good and too quick for Mir. How quick you ask? Mir tried taking Dos Santos down in teh 1st 20 seconds, and then never tried again

Yep, the mis matches were as expected. Entertaining though they were.

Miller looked like shit again. Heard he's been cut. Personally I'd cut him and Dollaway after that.

Not a single word of appreciation for Fedor. You fecking heathens! Great performance from Rich Franklin tonight...unbeleivable toughness and poise to recover from the beating Wanderlei put on him at the end of the second round.

Fedor went out with a whimper to be fair. He should have done everything in his power to fight in the UFC before he retired.

Decentish weekend both events had a couple of good fights.

I can't stand maynard so even with the way Clay was fighting I still wanted him to win. Thought he had scord enough to win it.

W Silva v Franklyn apparently happend this past weekend. It seemed like a smaller event that had mostly Brazliians in it. Next big one is Anderson Silva v Chael Sonnen on July 7th.

Had it recorded - Frankin looked very solid indeed.

The Maynard - Guida fight was....odd, personally im glad Maynard won as Guida just reminded me too much of Carlos Tevez.

Maynard definitely deserved to win that one - Can't believe Guida's did what he did that night; running away from his opponent the whole night while doing 'great footwork'. Although I'm not a big fan of Maynard I liked how he just offered his face for Guida to stop running and let him punch it a couple of times. Certainly didn't expect that type of pussy tactic from Guida.

Was impressed with Franklin's performance; great boxing and overall performance despite being badly hurt in the second round.

It's a shame Fedor never fought in the UFC, but maybe UFC was partly to blame as well. Nevertheless he is a legend and well done to him for a great career.

Anyone expect Sonnen to pull the same beating on Anderson this time around? He looked hardly impressive against Bisping which makes the rumours about Anderson's injury in his first fight against Sonnen somewhat credible.

Little worried that the Silva v Sonnen fight will have so much hype it could turn out to be a let down, but knowing Sonnen he will not go down without a huge battle first. No doubt he will try to force Silva on the back foot, will be interesting to see how it goes.

If Sonnen loses do you think he will stick to his word and retire from the sport?.

Sonnen already said he won't be retiring if he loses cuz that was an offer Anderson didn't take right away after Sonnen's fight against Stann.

One thing that's been different this time around has been Anderson's losing his cool a couple of times and lashing out verbally, maybe Sonnen has gotten under his skin. The face-off following the pre-fight conference yesterday seemed to show Anderson being uncharacteristically aggressive in these events. This might be actually bad news for Sonnen as an angry and super-motivated Anderson Silva will be an even scarier opponent.

As long as Silva wins I will not feel let down.

That Silva is trained by Steven Seagal is bewildering to me.

Also, seems that Silva is sparring with some real heavyweights in preperation...

I think it's quite clear it's all a publicity stunt to further the exposure of Blackhouse. They've not gotten much mainstream publicity so far, and in Segal they have a willing pawn to gain some much needed attention. Check out the other "training" videos they've released since they linked up:

Almost seems like they're humouring him....

I think Silva will win this one but I can't help liking Sonnen. He's obviously playing a character almost to WWF levels.

And if Silva has Steven Seagal training him, Sonnen bests him in that respect I think...

Anyone catch the shoulder bump by Silva at the Weigh ins?

Perhaps I've watched too much pro wrestling growing up but a part of me thinks they're good friends behind the scenes.

Christ. I hope Anderson shuts this guy up once and for all.

I used to be annoyed about how Chael speaks. But then I realised it's all just a show for the cameras. Check him out on the Joe Rogan podcast, really changed my opinion of him. Now I can laugh about it, content in the fact that he's just taking the piss out of everyone :)

Disclaimer: Audio isn't entirely SFW

What time will the fight happen anyone know?

Silva will play with him and dismantle him.

Not seen him this hyped for a fight since I saw him against Lee Murray at Cage Rage. He's got the same look about him.

If Anderson is getting a cut of the PPV buy, he should get down on his knees and blow Sonnen, he's sold the shit out of this fight for about 2 years!

Will be interesting to see what Sonnen does after he gets beat tonight. He's bloody made for WWF.

At first i really disliked Sonnen, but im sort of warming to him in a weird way, he is batshit crazy but hes got balls you got to give him that.

I hope Anderson Silva wins, but If Sonnen does win it could make things very interesting.

Interesting that you bring that up, I actually watched that stare down between them a few days ago and he was similar to how he is now.

Oh Awesome, Youtube was going on about it being watchable through them but just says rental not available.

If anyone finds a good stream send us a PM please

Chael Sonnen  Can't tell if he's an actual prick or just a great actor
