She didn't just follow him though, no? She tried to send him a message.Agreed. She was probably attempting to be friendly be following her husband's opponent on social media. Totally uncalled for by Conor imo.

No, McGregor acted like a dick, as usual. Do you think it's at all likely that she was just messaging him to say good luck though?Do you think it was right for Conor to attempt to publicly humiliate Dustin by insinuating his wife was secretly propositioning him ?

I feel like your dislike of Mcgregor clouds your judgement. Conor has made loads of snide and abusive comments about Poirier in the build up this time (Poirier has done likewise to be fair!), there's no way Poirier's wife is sending a good luck message. The time to do that would've been before the last fight when Mcgregor was trying to act humble.Hard to say. All i can go by is Conor's past behavior, which this seems to be consistent with.

There are other unsavoury allegations floating about. Unsavoury would be putting it mildly. Also seen videos of him getting picked up in a Range Rover in some counsel estate after a 4 day sesh on the gear. Of course, the last part isn't necessarily bad but if he's up to that carry on, then there is no reason to think that his decision making is compromised and has always been compromised. How about the bus attack incident, insulting Khabib's wife/religion, assaulting an old man in a pub who declined to sample his whiskey, getting arrested in Miami for smashing a fan's phone when he attempted to take a photo of him etc. (the list is longer than this). Obviously when all of this is taken in its totality, there's very little to like, which in turn means Conor isn't going to be extended the benefit of doubt in debates like this.
Literally none of this has anything to do with Poirier's wife private messaging him though. How about the bus attack incident, insulting Khabib's wife/religion, assaulting an old man in a pub who declined to sample his whiskey, getting arrested in Miami for smashing a fan's phone when he attempted to take a photo of him etc. (the list is longer than this). I agree completely that McGregor is a dickhead. But I think you're wrong in saying that she was just trying to be friendly.

okIt does since it illustrates a history of poor behavior on McGregor's part, so why would this not be considered as the most recent example of his past behavior ?
I like Conor as fighter. Seems like an absolute scumbag though.I deliberately haven't brought them up, but I'm sure anyone who has followed him knows what they are.

I like watching him as a fighter as well. Don't care for him as a person obviously.
That’s a decent analogyHe draws enormous attention and that cannot be denied but I feel like people think just because he transcended the sport, therefore he must be GOAT level -- he's nowhere near. Reminds me a bit of Beckham. Obviously very good but nowhere near GOAT level.
Yeah it’s fairly sad especially considering any substantive point could have been made without bringing that up.It’s a thread on an open members forum… I just think trying to “pull rank” because you’ve been posting in the thread a long time is a bit embarrassing.
There’s nothing wrong with open healthy debate and chat… and how long someone has been posting should have nothing to do with how valid their opinions are. If you feel someone isn’t being respectful to you, I would just disengage. Not worth the time.
That would be hilarious, Conor would be trapped like a rat if he was holding the belt when Khabib came back. Do it WWE style and while Conor is celebrating with the belt, Sabine Kors hits, in comes Khabib. But I don’t see it happening and don’t think it would be worth it reallyPart of me wants McGregor to beat Dustin and then Olivera, only for Khabib to come back and make him look like a can again.
Hope Wonderboy can get it done against Burns, I like both of them but we've seen Burns get his shot and while I don't know if Thompson would get a title shot off this he would be an interesting puzzle for Usman to solve at least.
"Your wife is your husband" is the lamest shit he has come up with.Conor seems pretty desperate to get under Dustins skin this time - think he knows he has to win this one at all costs.

Think it's more he knows Dustin's family means a lot to him - he obviously won't go after the kids so the wife is the easiest target."Your wife is your husband" is the lamest shit he has come up with.
I'm not even talking about going after the family, it's McGregor, he's scum and will probably have a go at the kids next.Think it's more he knows Dustin's family means a lot to him - he obviously won't go after the kids so the wife is the easiest target.
I don't really agree with it either, there's 1 thing taking the piss out of your opponent but going after family is not cool.
I think he's hoping Dustin is so wound up he comes out swinging and he'll catch him.

It was so bad even his fans in the crowd didn't want to chant along"Your wife is your husband" is the lamest shit he has come up with.
