Hard to say. All i can go by is Conor's past behavior, which this seems to be consistent with.

I feel like your dislike of Mcgregor clouds your judgement. Conor has made loads of snide and abusive comments about Poirier in the build up this time (Poirier has done likewise to be fair!), there's no way Poirier's wife is sending a good luck message. The time to do that would've been before the last fight when Mcgregor was trying to act humble.
Part of me wants McGregor to beat Dustin and then Olivera, only for Khabib to come back and make him look like a can again.
How about the bus attack incident, insulting Khabib's wife/religion, assaulting an old man in a pub who declined to sample his whiskey, getting arrested in Miami for smashing a fan's phone when he attempted to take a photo of him etc. (the list is longer than this). Obviously when all of this is taken in its totality, there's very little to like, which in turn means Conor isn't going to be extended the benefit of doubt in debates like this.
There are other unsavoury allegations floating about. Unsavoury would be putting it mildly. Also seen videos of him getting picked up in a Range Rover in some counsel estate after a 4 day sesh on the gear. Of course, the last part isn't necessarily bad but if he's up to that carry on, then there is no reason to think that his decision making is compromised and has always been compromised.
Literally none of this has anything to do with Poirier's wife private messaging him though.
I agree completely that McGregor is a dickhead. But I think you're wrong in saying that she was just trying to be friendly.
It does since it illustrates a history of poor behavior on McGregor's part, so why would this not be considered as the most recent example of his past behavior ?

I like watching him as a fighter as well. Don't care for him as a person obviously.
He draws enormous attention and that cannot be denied but I feel like people think just because he transcended the sport, therefore he must be GOAT level -- he's nowhere near. Reminds me a bit of Beckham. Obviously very good but nowhere near GOAT level.
Hope Wonderboy can get it done against Burns, I like both of them but we've seen Burns get his shot and while I don't know if Thompson would get a title shot off this he would be an interesting puzzle for Usman to solve at least.
