Gaming The Legend of Zelda | Earthquake: "It's actually ridiculously good, and keeps getting better." ★★★★★

Just finished the Temple of Fire.

What was the deal with the creepy Muslim music (and the moon and start types of flags)? Was it shahada, right?

I saw a video of it. Looks a very hard game.

OOT seems really great though. It is flawless, so far.

Yep.

A link to the past is awesome dude. I only played it a while back myself and it holds up great.

Finally finished Ocarina of Time. One of the very few games I would give a perfect 10/10 score.

Excellent game in every way. The only thing they could have done better is to not take the piss out of 5 ruble puzzles that were used a lot of times in the end of the game.

One game I would silly amounts of money for a remake.

Hm... might get this next time I'm out and about then. Never heard a bad word about OoT.

It is really great. It isn't even in my favorite genre of games (RPG are my favorites, a distant second being stealth shooters) but this game is fantastic regardless if you like action-adventure or not.

Worth the £30 for 3DS, do you think?
Man, there aren't many - if any - better games than it. As I said, I am not fan of the genre, but would put it right there with Kotor, Mass Effect, FF VI, FF VII, Dragon Age Origins and Deus Ex as my favorite games (yep, even higher than Half Life). From an objective point of view (not using favoritism), only FF VI, FF VII and possibly Deus Ex and Half Life are in the same level as it.

Gonna play any others @Revan?
Eventually yes. It is a quite tiring game though, so will make a break for a bit.

But I am definitely going to play A Link to the Past and Majora's Mask in the future.

Played Wind Waker again recently (HD version) and it was even better than I remembered. Spent a lot of time exploring and got most of the heart pieces as well. Tried replaying Majora's Mask a few times but found it very difficult to get into for some reason.

Haven't played OoT much, only just got past the Gorons bit so I'm not far in, hadn't been particularly grabbed by it until getting to this part, I dunno why though, bit weird. First time I've really wanted to go back and play it. Gonna have another quick bash of it before bed.

I've lost count of the times I've played and completed Ocarina of Time but I never fail to get lost in Lord Jabu Jabu and the Water Temple

And everywhere else.

Btw, did anyone else found the last two fights (evil twins and Gannon) relatively easy compared to the previous boss fights.

I think the main issue with the Water Temple is that key hidden under the tile in the central room. Other than that it's pretty straightforward.

I might actually hook up my GameCube and give this a whirl during the weekend.. cheers for the bump!

I've got majoras mask on 3ds, wind waker on wii u and link to the past on the virtual console sitting there for months now

My New Years resolution is to replay all 3 this year

Oh God the water temple is awful. It beat me on the N64. I got ocarina of time for the 3DS for nostalgia sake, but still can't work that temple out!

Was playing the Jabu Jabu level earlier today/last night, was getting really annoyed as I couldn't find my way out

Now I've gotta find the princess again I think, after just beating the octopus.

I didn't find it that horrible on 3ds. The only issue I had with it on N64 was the annoying way that the Iron Boots were implemented and that was sorted for the remake
