Gaming The Legend of Zelda | Earthquake: "It's actually ridiculously good, and keeps getting better." ★★★★★

Link between Worlds is a great game and a steal at £15 (Probably less if you shop around a bit). I'd definitely recommend.

Wondering which one to play next. I've never played Majora's Mask so going to pick that up I think. I do have an urge to replay Wind Waker though.

Only had your 3DS a few days and you've already completed it, yet I haven't even started it

It deserved that amount of playtime! Get on it Olly.

Recommend me some games?
Super Mario 3D Land is required, it's absolutely great.
Pilotwings Resort is one I always have to recommend. It's fun and really relaxing. Can be bought preowned nice and cheap.
Luigi's Mansion 2 is a lot of fun. Slightly different style to the original, but still lots great.
Professor Layton games are a lot of fun if you enjoy puzzles.
Ocarina of Time 3D is a great remake if you want to play OOT.
New Super Mario Bros 2 - The perfect kind of game for me, if you like platformers you should check it out, especially if you haven't played much of the NSMB series before.
Kid Icarus Uprising - Lots of fun if you can get used to the controls.
Animal Crossing New Leaf is somehow fun.
Shinobi if you want to throw your 3DS at a wall.

I haven't bought any others in a while, so for other recommendations someone else might have to step in.

Thanks Olly I'll check them out!

It looks....nice.

For me an open world these days has to be full of life and depth otherwise it feels lonely and dead. I'm not sure it'll have that from that video but obviously too early to really tell.

Just take it easy on all the climbing. I fecking hate climbing.

Lots of people on Reddit getting excited by the climbing, tree chopping and cooking. Things that could get boring very quick, but maybe not.

I never really get excited for Zelda based on reveal trailers and initial gameplay, but after what I've seen today I want to play the shit out of that. Big difference after yesterday and starting to think that maybe video games weren't for me anymore.

Think I may start saving for the NX to add to the excitement.

Morons on neogaf crying because there is no playable female character.

What is it with these morons? Just play the fecking game. Stop thinking everyone is sexist or racist if they don't have a certain lead character.

Yeah, a 16 page thread in about half an hour the last I saw. I would have absolutely no problem if they had decided to make a female character playable because they wanted to do it, but the constant "You must do it just because!" over there is ridiculous.

I actually think it looks lifeless and without Zeldas typical charm from the very very little Ive watched now.

Sweet, I'm definitely getting the new Nintendo when this comes out. It's been a while, so it'll be good to have another Nintendo in the house again, if only to reconnect with my younger self :) The WiiU is the only Nintendo console I haven't owned, and that's solely because of its lack of a proper Zelda game.

They've really perfected the visual style for the Zelda games now, love it!

Watched/read more. The variety is brilliant in what you can do, and I love the weather effects, temperature control and all the nifty traversal tools. I still think the world could use a few more animals/npcs etc. but the rest admittedly looks fantastic.

Sigh, there's always one game that makes me want to buy a Nintendo console again... always loved Zelda and this looks awesome! :)

I know a lot will buy their console just for this, but would they not make more by making it cross platform? I know I won't buy a Nintendo but I'd probably buy the game if it was available on Xbox.

They said that they left out NPCs and villages in the demo to not spoil any of the story, so they'll be there in the full game.

Nah. Like you said, there will be people buying the console because of Zelda, so straight away they'd lose the money from those sales. Plus the other costs.
