I signed up for a draft which I'm enjoying, couldn't care less about rest of this family quiz type stuff, never had any time for it when you used to put it up randomly before and never will, mindnumbing 12 yr old spelling bee tripe.

In fairness, I thought it would work a bit differently, i.e. that they wouldn’t learn about the spell before the results (P2) were in.

Or - even better: Play it in P2 and those who suspect they've been shitheaded in P1 go into proper meltdown, now concluding they've been shitheaded twice in a row.

This is basically a master shithead card - with a limited pool like that, even if you don't pick anyone with E in his name there are only 2-3 options at best for each manager considering they have to fill 2-3 positions in their team. And with 9 managers to submit I'd be pretty surprised if someone gets a pass this 2nd pick.

I haven’t studied the full list of available players, but yeah - you’d think most if not all highly sought-after players turn ineligible.

Should’ve played it before P1, though, in hindsight. But - again - I thought it would be more like a bamboozle and less like a pure (and harsh) restriction.

I didn't, really - was going to bed and had to make a call pretty much on the fly.

Seemed obvious that it had to be played in a round I wasn't in myself, though - can't really see a scenario in which you'd benefit from the card otherwise.

R11 - Criteria
R11 - Pick a club

Same as round 1, kinda, but now with clubs.

A specific player you fancy? Now is your chance to secure a club that he played for.

Those with money/cards can use them (not PROTECT PLAYERS, though).

You can bid on club and 1st player pick.

Same mechanics as R1 but highest bid for CLUB gets to pick from said club. The others will move onto P2 and pick a new club.

If someone picks a player that has played for a different club, and another manager picks the same player, then highest bid wins should you both have him as 1st preferred pick. If there are no bids for these players i will give you nr 2 or nr 3 on you preference list. If after that you still don't have a player you get to pick a new club in the next pick.
