@The Stain am I going to need a computer for the research on this next one?

Why the hell are people taking time in this round? You have like 5 names to pick from.
They're secretly trying to torture you into leaving the draft so that we can have your players back into the pool.

How did Skizzo get an already picked in P1?

Did they not notice someone was already drafted ? If so..

Research will be easy. Internet would help. Why?

I'll be at work when the next criteria is announced so I'll be on my phone so massive lots of research would be a pain

I get the feeling its going to be like the last round but more intense. Not really research intense but intense decisions trying to make a choice between several strategies.

Should be easy to use the phone.

Decent

Yeah I didn't fancy trawling through pages and pages on my phone. Last pick I just managed on 1 page and then struggled with which direction to go

Do you still lose 40 bidding for someone that's blocked?

Just realized that Skizzo/Annah's supposed brainfart was probably calculated to pick Beckenbauer in the second round (protecting him in the first one)

Wouldn't go that far. Wanted Beckenbauer but figured we'd go for a 40m bid in the first round as well and just tossed a top name up. Then changed it, but changes weren't allowed which is fair enough. Had a good laugh at it!

Someone else had the same idea but at least he was open with it. SkizzAnnah seemed like a mess-up but you never know.

This is more likely :)

Yeah so if a player is already blocked what happens? That's for the same round of picking isn't it?

@The Stain
If a player is already blocked and two managers bid max for him then those managers need to get themselves checked in the head.

If the player is already picked in a previous round, which i think you mean, then they'll just get FAIL (Already picked).

That was my plan to be honest. ;)

Same here. Well, more or less: I went for a player I certainly want, but played the card in order to have the Beckenbauer gamble as Plan B. Plus, I wanted to make sure that nobody picked him up by sheer luck in P1.

Bit of a waste, you could argue - but the way things have been going, having someone luck out on him in P1 wasn’t entirely unrealistic. Well, the gamble obviously wouldn’t have succeeded in P2. I was thinking, actually, that if someone else had gone that route, the comments posted after P1 were very welcome (the idea being that Joga had secured him - if people actually believed that, you’d be golden with the gamble).
