Yeah, how do you decide who gets the player if multiple managers successfully land a multiple Ballon winner?
Nevermind, you can obviously just go with money as per usual. But just to be clear:
Manager A: Messadona 2010, 40m
Manager B: Messadona 2012 40m
Messadona: BLOCKED
A: 39m
B: 40m
B gets Messadona.

B - 30m landmine what happens?
Ignore the different years. It's still only one player. 2012 version blows up. The other is collateral.

Initially the idea was already picked players also blew up, so the beauty was if you killed your nan at least you also wiped out Messi.I did notice that 2007, thought you guys are being nice, you know perfectly well I would have gone with 2008 if you had set your criteria differently, and you can guarantee a landmine to go off.
The Stain disagreed, so we ended up blocking the whole period. I'm strongly considering making him a special event reward and see how far you will go.

Yeah thats not a good idea to remove picked players from a team.
Its really the worst type of draft mechanic that is no fun for anyone but the draft master. If someone gets a player passed that should be it. Putting time and effort into researching players gets cheapened if some stupid random event can just remove a player from your team.
Its something that just isn't any fun to lose players you put time and energy into building a team around. There are also plenty of mechanics in a sheep draft and the cards to make players fail that there is really no need for "random draft master events " to remove players from someone's team. Especially if that hits a team already with sheep and removes one of their only GOATS thats just bad game rules to me.
