Only 3 managers could because of the criteria with the connections to players already in your team. Anto had other preferences with already 3 defenders in his team, Pol already had 2 centerbacks, if I remember correctly. It was only Edgar or me, I got lucky there.
It was between Kohler and Bergomi for us. Then Chester, I think fecked me up on Bergomi and it was obvious that Kohler was gone too.
We still managed an all Brazilian back 4 with WC winning fullback partners. So I'm a bit relaxed.
TBF, if one criteria was going to take a while then it was going to be this one.
I thought we're only waiting for kps or Aldo to show up? Maybe it's just unlucky that both can't be online right now?

I am sorry I do not want to be a "dick" but I got my third sheep because I was 2 minutes late to submit my change in pick. I did not mention it once because it was in the rules that once everyone has made a pick, you can not go about changing it.
Now also in the rules -

1. In the same round and same attempt there were other managers who chose the same player.
2. The player you chose was already successfully signed by someone in the same round in the previous attempt.
3. Your pick doesn't match the criteria.
Not to mention if everyone has already submitted, Sniper should not be allowed to change his pick(s) anyway.
Now normally I would have been with everyone and allowed him to change it irrespective of the rules. But since a precendent has already been set with me, it can not be allowed to happen now.

Yes it did.
The issue was
-I submitted a pick
- Edgar being the last one left, submitted his pick
- I submitted a change to my pick before Aldo had posted the results ( he can confirm by checking time stamps)
- aldo posted the results.
I knew straightaway once he had done so why my change did not work.
Exactly the same thing applies here... everyone has submitted the pick. Sniper's change can not be allowed in now.

I reckon it can and should be if it isn't a valid pick, particularly in such an important round. just my two cents.
Anyway @AldoPaine18 can rule on this. I thought it was harsh that I could not get that change because of 2 minutes but ate it, so a similar harsh decision now is on par. Regardless no issues for me, whatever he decides.
And that was not an important round ? I was bricking it and facing my third sheep, which effectively now makes me a walkover!
As I already said Ii would not have even raised it if I had not suffered due the same rule. Infact what happens if Sniper doe snot change before the deadline, do we wait beyond that for him using same reasons?

I think it is a semantics argument, maybe that isn't the right word. I certainly see your point though but the picks you submitted were valid for the criteria, it should be (in my opinion) that if the pick doesn't match the criteria then it isn't taken into consideration or fully "submitted".
But as you say, it is Aldo's decision and is only the first round so the damage can still be repaired.
I would agree with you if rules stated that if an invalid pick is made it would be counted as not submitted. As per rules, Mods do not even need to notify anyone if they have made an invalid pick. It is not their responsibility.
Crappy, regarding what happened in your case, you weren't meant to be able to change your pick in round 3 after submitting it anyway, only in round 1
Aldo did with one of mine though, possibly others if they are to speak up so a precedent has been set in that sense.
Rules are the same for all 3 rounds though
- as soon as everyone submits their pick, the round is over.
- 24 hours is a fall back deadline before we pass anyone who has not submitted any pick at all
Was it round 1? I thought you tried to change yours in a later round and that isn't allowed
Well if he has done so then I think he has been overly helpful when he did not need to be, in some way there is not much difference between that and telling someone they are picking someone who has been picked by someone else as well. What's done is done but I don't see why I should be the only one who suffered due to rules being followed diligently.
Read above. Rules are same for all the three rounds. You can always change your pick if it is before everyone has submitted one
