The First Redcafe Sheep Draft

Ok, so if I've 12 players including a keeper they will all remain and we'll add to that squad of 12 in the next round. If I don't have a keeper one of the 12 has to come out for a sheep keeper

If you have a keeper, you skip the sheep keeper allocation and go straight to the Banned List Round where IF you manage to get a player, you can swap him with anyone in your existing squad.

Final squads will be of 12.

I can replace my Sheep if I have a keeper?
I picked a certain French WC winner once and never heard the end of it despite him having excellent tournos and being quite clearly a better keeper than whatshisname.

I'd be careful with the difference between flashes of form and "peaks". Heskey himself could be unstoppable for a run of games as well, was he ever World Class on a consistent basis? Nope, clearly.
What are you saying actually? That Nikopolidis should be judged on his form in Euro 2004 or not? Couldn't get it.

In the banned list round, yeah you can.

Will explain the details later. For now everyone should focus on getting a keeper if they haven't to avoid the sheep keeper allocation and losing one of their non sheep pick players.

That peak form over a career is not a run of games but at the very least an entire season of excellence. One great Euro is not peak to me if two months later he was dropping clangers left, right and centre. It's not a point for debate or argument, just saying how many will interpret it and interpret it correctly IMO. Shouldn't make a huge difference, but won't help if your defence is perceived as weak. That pair should help, absolutely, although the comments on Lionheart are accurate: bad vibes there.

I get it. I just think he's a solid keeper and definitely not error prone..

The first was the easiest!
I don't think so.

People are too concerned in worrying about what will happen if they get that dreadful half block and end up stuck inside a small pool, like yesterday while completely forgetting that the question is meant to send everyone in a different direction hence the chance of blocking is really low, like we saw yesterday as well.

My head is completely in the blocked picks round. So much on the line there! I'm really optimistic I won't get a block at this round, than there are so many question:
  • Should I get a RB to replace my sheep?
  • Should I get a top class player in any position replacing my own? I mean as much as I rate Terry-Carvalho for example, getting Nesta would improve it.
I actually don't know what to do..

Found this round fairly straightforward, so far at least. Yesterday's was a fecking nightmare and I suspected Balu and I might clash. Still, there wasn't a lot of top-end quality picked up so nobody really missed out. Essentially, it all depends on the positions you need.

How many have submitted?

Damn this is difficult. I wanted to get a CM and AM but just can't make it work... oh well I'll go for something a bit different..

Pick sent

If I get my last two players, I almost made up for the last round, when both my picks really hurt my initial plan :(. Really worried though :nervous:, my backup picks are a huge downgrade.

I guess it's really easy to see who you're going to pick in the banned list round..

Really? I could use both Matthäus and Lahm. The most annoying thing is that my favorite Bayern player is the one I need the least :(.

Matthäus wasn't eligible in the first 2 rounds, and was instantly blocked in the 1st attempt of round 3, if I remember correctly.
