Pretty ironic he accused Edgar of pushing it then makes that claim. There is a chance he's top 5 since Maradona, personally wouldn't have him that high though. Top 10 in this draft would be more clear cut and undisputed.

Top 5/6 in history is a pretty daft comment though.
 
"Best player" is always subject to priorities re: other roles. I'm sure Sacchi and Capello preferred having Baresi in their team than Laudrup, for example.

As a #10 orchestrator? Yups, top 5 alongside Diego, Pelé, Cruyff and Platini. Only ****** has given him a run for his money since.

Not as good as Laudrup but still a vote-winner imo. I'm surprised he evidently hasn't been perceived as such in previous drafts. I thought he was a favourite of my generation of fans (~30 years old), and there seems to be a fair few in that age bracket knocking around these draft threads.
 
I suspect Edgar knows his onions and with the help of Brwned will indeed build a side that gets the best out of Laudrup.

Definitely the pick of the round.

For the record, that's why I went for Romario. There were enough higher rated strikers and alternatives in other positions. If I tried Michael he surely would have been banned and I wasn't having that. I almost had a late pop at the third attempt :lol: but was pretty sure VivaJ would have got him. He looked way too chuffed, and rightly so.

Here we go again, Theon starts with his "Oh Dear" campaign. It's simple mate, take all players who played in that role and he is top 5 in my book. In others' it could be 5-10, just a matter of taste.

Unfortunately most of his contemporaries can't be named but go take a hike down his wiki page and read the quotes on people far more knowledgeable than you. Only too arrogant pricks with an agenda have anything backhanded to say.
 
Sorry I was mistaken. Brwned is with Edgar and they have Rui Costa. I thought then that VivaJanuzaj was with Brwned.

I struggle to think who that 6th chap is. Stuck at 3-4ish myself, most available tonight, get one of those and it's game over.
 
You can field the sith(If you know what I mean) and he will still end up winning is what he is saying. Ballsy statement, a perfect recreated Sith team would be maybe the best team in this draft and he is still confident of a win.

But what about the Jedis? I think a perfectly created team of Jedis will beat the Sith. We could use Ewoks as sheep.
 
I think that is what Antohan wants VivaJanuzaj to do. Four are already available in the coming pick apparently.

Not sure how it works with restrictions, but technically they were born after Maradona.
 
Pretty sure it's not allowed to play football with only 2 players, so the Sith have a problem.

It is an all-time draft though. Isn't that what makes it so scary? Finally they can be more than two at once.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about, I'm talking about a team full of Sith lords? Not that that makes more sense, I'm sure it has nothing to do with Laudrup though.
 
I am actually also just talking about the Star Wars sith lords. Absolutely no connection to any team what so ever.
 
Jedis and Siths are so early noughties, why are they making a comeback? Anything I missed?
